Kuwait stresses the importance of the development of trade with Iraq to promote the common economy

{Baghdad: Euphrates News} The Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of State for Kuwaiti youth {proxy} Khaled Rodan, on Wednesday, the need for the development of intra-OIC trade with Iraq to strengthen the economy of the two countries, especially in light of the decline in oil prices.
He said Rodan in a press statement during his meeting with the Minister of Planning and Minister of Trade {agency} Salman Jumaili “intra -regional trade development between the Arab countries enhance Arab economic integration , making it an economic power keep pace with global economic blocs.”
He explained that ” the meeting discussed several pivotal issues related to the promotion of the business side between the two countries in addition to discussing the best possible solutions for the development of bilateral economic relations are greater.”
He reported that ” the meeting touched on the importance of finding concrete steps in the coming days to promote intra – OIC trade with Arab countries, especially Kuwait ‘s economic plan aimed at transforming the country ‘s financial and commercial center.”
