Kuwait announces its progress with Iraq in the right direction to achieve some of the commitments

{Baghdad: Euphrates News} Kuwait announced today that it is moving with Iraq in the right direction towards achieving some of the commitments.
Iraq has still suffer under Chapter VII, which restricts it since 1991 because of UN Security Council resolutions after the invasion of the former regime of Kuwait.
And tried to Iraq after the fall of the former regime to carry out all its obligations Kuwait Tgth for out of this chapter, but that Kuwait did not give up on some of the benefits that were since the time of the former regime.
The agent said the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry Khaled Suleiman Al-Jarallah in a press statement that “in the context of its efforts Kuwait with the brotherly Iraq, to take actions of some of the commitments and moving in the right direction, Kuwait is moving forward to achieve these commitments.”
He added, “We are with Iraq to overcome the slow implementation of some commitments and moving in the right direction and Iraq does not have any demands for the implementation of these commitments.”
Iraq has to give compensation to Kuwait by five percent of the amount of oil revenues to Kuwait as compensation and debt due to the invasion of the former regime.
Hovering over the past few days positive signs to resolve some of the outstanding issues between the two countries. Ended
