The Ministry of Electricity in the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq announced on Sunday the resumption of gas transfer from the Khor Mor field to power plants. In a statement, the ministry said, “At 2:00 AM today, gas began being transferred from the Khor Mor field to the power plants, and the power plants will be restarted.” The statement added that “the electricity situation will see a significant improvement, and will return to normal within 24 hours.”
