Member of the Council of Representatives of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Ikhlas al-Dulaimi, revealed that the region will deliver 250 thousand barrels, agreed with the federal government, within the budget of 2020.
“There have been problems throughout the current year with regard to how the KRG will deliver 250,000 barrels of oil to the federal government through the oil marketing company [SOMO],” Dulaimi said.
Al-Dulaimi affirmed that “Kurdish delegations will arrive soon to meet with Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi to resolve the oil dispute between the federal government and the region, and to hand over the quota in the budget estimated at 250,000 barrels,” indicating that “we will go to the amendment of the morning” .
