Shafaq News/ On Thursday, the representative of the State of Law bloc, Mohammed Al-Ziyadi, announced the postponement of the parliament session until next Saturday due to the withdrawal of the Kurdish blocs in protest against the federal budget law.
Al-Ziyadi told Shafaq News Agency, “The Council of Representatives postponed its session today until Saturday due to the Kurdish parties’ objection to withdrawing the amendment to the general budget law from the Council’s agenda.”
He explained that “the Kurdish parties withdrew from the session, which caused the quorum to be broken and the session to not be held, and it was postponed until Saturday.”
