Khazali - The UAE Withdraws Its Support From Al-Halbousi And The Trio And Changes Are Expected After EidInformation / Baghdad.

Political analyst Haitham al-Khazali confirmed, on Thursday, that the UAE is trying to deliver messages to some resistance factions and political forces from outside the Triple Alliance that it will withdraw its support from Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi and the Triple Alliance, pointing to the cracks inside the Kurdish house and the differences within sovereignty, specifically with al-Halbousi. Changes were made in the map of alliances.

Al-Khazali said in a statement to “The Information”, that “the UAE is trying at the present time to send messages to some of the Islamic resistance factions and some political forces from outside the Triple Alliance that it will not interfere in the Iraqi political affairs and that it will lift support for Al-Halbousi and the Triple Alliance.”

He added that “the fissures within the Kurdish House, which increased its gap, as well as the escalation of differences within the Sovereignty Alliance, and in particular against Al-Halbousi, have accelerated a change in the map of political alliances,” adding that “the new political map will be announced after the blessed Eid al-Fitr holiday.”

A parliamentary source had revealed, in a previous statement to “The Information”, that there was a major rift within the Triple Alliance for several reasons, noting that Barzani had expressed his displeasure with the delegation of the Sovereignty Alliance because of the failure of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, to his contacts.
