Kamal Saadi denies the existence of a personal target for the central bank governor

{Baghdad: Euphrates News} denied a member of the Integrity Committee in the Iraqi Council of Representatives Kamal Saadi, a personal target for the central bank governor Sinan al-Shabibi.

The Cabinet had voted a few days ago to exempt Shabibi from office and ask Abdul Basit Turki of Directors of the Central Bank until further notice, after news that pointed to the existence of suspicions of corruption in the work of the central bank and private process of selling the dollar.

Some media quoted informed sources, the earlier news that indicate that the Iraqi judiciary issued an arrest warrant for bank governor Sinan al-Shabibi and {16} another official corruption charges, pointing out that “Shabibi fled abroad after the issuance of the note.”

But the Central Bank of Iraq denied the news, and said that they were untrue. Ended
