The imam and Friday preacher of Fallujah district in Anbar Governorate, Sheikh Naji Al-Zobaie, demanded that the Sudanese government investigate the looted funds and open an investigation into the disappearance of huge funds during Al-Kazemi’s assumption of the previous government.
Al-Zawbai said in his sermon from the Ahmed bin Habal Mosque, which was attended by Al-Maalouma Agency, that “the Al-Suwani government must investigate to know the fate of huge financial funds that disappeared during Al-Kazemi’s assumption of the previous government, as well as revealing the fate of the looted funds in previous governments through the formation of a specialized committee whose tasks are to recover these funds.” money and referred those involved in financial corruption to the judiciary, regardless of their position or party affiliation.
Al-Zobaie added that “huge financial funds disappeared and the investigation was closed due to the influence and pressure of the influential parties, and it is time to reveal them to the people, and everyone should support the committees to prosecute the corrupt and support them.”
And he indicated that “billions of dollars disappeared during the past years and the investigation was closed and the Sudanese government should prosecute them,” stressing that “the fight against financial corruption is no less important than the fight against terrorist gangs.”
