Iraqs oil exports to the US rise and exceed Saudi ArabiaShafaq News/ The US Energy Information Administration announced on Sunday that Iraq’s oil exports to the United States of America increased during the past week.

The administration said in a schedule seen by Shafaq News Agency, “The average US imports of crude oil during the past week from 9 major countries amounted to 5.623 million barrels per day, an increase of 1.425 million barrels per day from the previous week, which amounted to 4.198 million barrels per day.”

She added that “Iraq’s oil exports to America amounted to 194 thousand barrels per day last week, an increase of 51 thousand barrels per day from the previous week, which amounted to 143 thousand barrels per day.”

The administration indicated that “the largest oil revenues for America during the past week came from Canada at a rate of 3.765 million barrels per day, followed by Mexico at an average of 714 thousand barrels per day, followed by Brazil at an average of 428 thousand barrels per day, from Saudi Arabia at an average of 183 thousand barrels per day, and from Ecuador at an average of 137 thousand barrels per day.”

According to the table, “the amount of US imports of crude oil from Nigeria was at a rate of 109 thousand barrels per day, from Colombia at a rate of 71 thousand barrels per day, and from Libya at a rate of 2 thousand barrels per day.”
