Shara said that “the quartet formed by the House of Representatives, headed by First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Qusay al-Suhail to visit Kurdistan did not reach any agreement on approving the budget.”
He added that “the reason for the delay in approving the budget deficit in the state budget and the financial breakdown of all service projects and economic development.”
The parliament form several committees to resolve the dispute over the budget between the center and the region, most recently by the Quartet, headed by First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Qusay al-Suhail and the membership of Aref Tayfur, Adnan al-Janabi, and Haider al-Abadi, but it did not reach a solution that satisfies all parties, when she returned last week from Erbil free handed.
In the opinion of MPs means that the failure of the Commission to postpone its discussions until after the next parliamentary elections to be held on the thirtieth of April.
