WE HAVE NAJAFI TALKING TO THE UN AND TELLING THEM THAT THEY ARE ON THE VERGE OF A VERY BLOODY CIVIL CONFLICT. NOW KNOWING THAT, CAN YOU SEE THE UNS UNSC RELEASING THEM AND SAYING THEY ARE NOT A THREAT TO PEACE IN THE ME.

6-6-2013 Newshound Guru Tlar Article quote: “the council will transfer some of the issues related to the Chapter VII to Chapter VI of the UN Charter when it meets to discuss the matter next month.” The key word is some. Some is part of not the whole meaning technically they are still in chapter VII with the potential files dealing with Kuwait that might be moved to VI. The UN under the current situation with Maliki blatantly violating the UN sanctions against Syria and Iran, will not release Iraq totally from VII until Iraq changes its ways.

6-6-2013 Newshound Guru Tlar If Kuwait is willing to normalize relations with Iraq, then Iraq should be rewarded by this move from VII to VI on the issue of Kuwait. Iraq has accepted the border demarcation by the UN and Iraq and Kuwait have formed joint funds to pay those people who are to be moved. This issue at least looks more and more like a non issue finally.

Or will they have a longer time period to be turned in for a currency exchange?] The answer is pretty straight forward – ALL denominations will be treated equally. If they swap the currency for new denominations and recall any of them, it will apply to ALL of them… just like when they recalled the old Saddam notes. So the simple answer is – don’t worry about what denomination you are holding. If they instate a mandatory “turn in” of the current Iraqi Dinar, it will be across the board and they will replace it with newer notes.

6-5-2013 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG I highly doubt there will be any 3-state Iraq…just more wind from the State Dept…no one over there wants that. Not the Sunni’s – they would be the poorest of the 3…Not Baghdad – they don’t want a divided nation…and not the Kurds – if they leave – they leave for good. So relax about “de-issuing” the money. Not going to happen…IMHO

6-5-2013 Intel Guru hub My three contacts, and they are one currency broker in nyc has said it is done…he sees it, be patient, some one will release it…the second is a harvard finance professor and he said its done…they thought it was going monday…the third is some high end and i cant give them away…it is done…all three do not know why has not happened…all three say it has been completed and is only left to be activated…i depend on my guys that do this for a living…they know things no one knows…so my post is hold on, its done…we will be there soon.

6-5-2013 Newshound Guru Adam Montana [It seems the Iraqis were moving ahead full throttle a few weeks ago and now it appears to be slowing again. The articles pointing to the dinar value being raised the first of June 2013 seemed valid. What are your thoughts on this and do you still think we will see good news this month? Has anything else been done to move the HCL and Chapter 7 further along to closure?] I think the references to the “first” of June were more vague, but the references to “June” were more concrete. Lots of “June” left to go, and Ramadan doesn’t start untiil July… so let’s hang tight and see what happens. Lots of good news on Chapter 7 and HCL.

Human nature is where there is a will, there will be a way. Iran will always be able to acquire USD until its too expensive and they can’t counterfeit it. AKA the smalls.

6-5-2013 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG Article: “Member of the Iraqi Oil Committee calls to speed up approving HCL before the end of the current term.” I’m most interested to see the HCL back on the table. This is important but not critical. It is good to see them dealing with something germane to our interests.

6-5-2013 Newshound Guru Adam Montana First, Ramadan – it’s coming soon! I am getting the feeling that a lot of last minute “push” is happening in Iraq, because they definitely want to be able to enjoy their holiday. Now, the current rate – over the last 15 days or so we heard a lot about a fluctuation in the exchange rate. For the first time in years, it seemed like they had to scramble to control the value. In my opinion, that’s an awesome thing! ONE it forces them to prove that they are in control… and the next thing to do is either raise the value or lose it. If they raise it, GREAT! If they lose control, well then we finally get some closure and we can get off this darn ride!

6-5-2013 Newshound Guru Adam Montana Next we have Chapter 7 and HCL… things are DEFINITELY heating up with HCL. We are seeing a lot of articles come out about the HCL, and all of it is positive and encouraging. In my opinion, we should be looking for a big move on the HCL… when we see that, we are THERE! That’s my opinion on the current state of the Dinar.
