It seems that the lower denominations without some sort of RV would render them valueless…Could you please give some insight regarding the relationship between and the timing of the two?] You are 100% correct – lower denoms by themselves is a POINTLESS action and I don’t see it happening without a simultaneous restructuring of not only the value, but the exchange rate and the way the Dinar is viewed by the entire world.
5-16-2013 Newshound Guru Tlar Article: “Parliament to summon finance minister as dinar loses more value against dollar” The CBI by opening up the remittances and dollars is obviously attempting to flood the market with USD in order to attempt to bring the rates back together. If this does not work and there is every possibility that it won’t, that leaves very little left to do except change the rate and introduce the smalls.

Along with diversification, as this article speaks of, Iraq also must have a convertible currency so I agree, at the current time WTO accession will not happen. However, top Iraqi officials have been receiving training on accession for almost a year now so I think it’s a work in progress and will happen. I also think that their currency will go international long before WTO full accession so it doesn’t really matter to us in any other sense that these preparations point to having a tradeable currency.

5-16-2013 Newshound Guru Adam Montana [the news about maliki running for a election…if Maliki…wins the election for a third term, is maliki on our side for RV?] I can verify that Maliki is officially planning to run for his third term. I’m interested to see who might be his biggest contender… I don’t think Allawi will give it another go, but it’s a possibility! Either way, I think Maliki and Allawi are both good candidates who will support increasing the value of the Dinar.
