7-30-2013 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Article: “Iraqi economist Mohammad Saleh appearance of time live market breakdown and impasse of 2014 is not valid for Exchange” This is a really good article…What I see initially, Saleh is stating they need to move forward with the currency reform. And if the excuse is “political stability” next year is an election year and they will use that as an excuse as well. He also says at the end, that the GOI is afraid to open the economy because they are afraid they will take all their capital and leave Iraq. Saleh said that is non-sense since their is such potential for success and profit in Iraq.

7-30-2013 Intel Guru Mnt Goat Just wanted to give you a quick update what I heard on a special call that was made to me early this morning from my IMF contact. It was once again reinforced to me that the USA could not see the new rates at the banks until the end of July. This will not go past this week. It must be pushed out and announced. Personally I do not think they can wait for the long weekend to push this out.

There are known facts that the Maliki government was directly linked to instigating the prison breaks and a stand down of the guards and lack of military support to allow them to occur. Why am I telling you all this? I am telling you that there is a critical situation in Iraq. The prime minister Nori Al Maliki is to be requested one more time to go before the parliament and explain the security situation this week. They are planning a no-confidence on this guy since he himself has become the security issue.

If these banks are going to function as banks, they need capital to loan for projects. State banks get capital from CBI bond sales. But private banks are suppose to get capital from depositors. …lower denoms will never come out till the dinar value rises near the dollar. And if it’s a float as we think, we wont need any lower denoms in banks for several months.

7-29-2013 Intel Guru TD I Received a very somber email from my contact today…he is saddened by the unrest & violence going on in Iraq and elsewhere in the middle east during Ramadan…I asked him if it’s a possibility to deter the countdown of execution of the currency reform plan past the August 8th + scenario that I’ve reported various times and he said it’s unlikely and that it’s a pressure cooker type situation which may force the CBI hand to act even sooner.

7-29-2013 Intel Guru TNT Tony Interesting weekend. You would not have wanted to hear what I heard on the weekend. I did not want to hear it. Since that time things have changed. I do like the fact that I have some good up-to-date info. We’re right there at the door step, but 1 group is holding us back. This a.m. I got more info from iraq, on tv that money was about to come and they will receive their blessing that any day the dinar will rise in value. People are being called back to the banks ASAP…being told it is done…it’s different than yesterday…we’re not saying we’re getting ready, we’re saying it’s done.

I got calls from people today that are saying we are not waiting we are there…if not today, then tomorrow. The cards over there, by trusted agents, the rate is already set at $3.44, here today it is showing at $3.65. The rate has been out, RV has taken place & the currency is already being traded above us, we’re the last level to see it. All banks are in position & being updated on the current situation & in a couple of hours I might be back with something else…just waiting for banks to tell me they have the green lite.
