I GOT NEWS THAT THEY MET SUNDAY BUT EVEN THOUGH MALIKI AGREED AGAIN WITH ALL THE DETAILS OF THE AGREEMENT HE WALKED OUT WITHOUT SIGNING. BARZANI SIGNED THEN MALIKI PICKED THEM UP AND WALKED OUT WITHOUT SIGNING AND SAID HE WOULD NEED A FEW DAYS BEFORE SIGNING? TIME WILL TELL.

5-1-2013 Intel Guru OCrush There is a conference that will take place today on the outcome of Mondays’ meeting with Maliki and Barzani (pm). We know the results were positive because Barzani announced that his ministers (kurdish) will attend the cabinet meetings once again (Thursday the 2nd of May). This cabinet meeting they will have tomorrow will probably implement the Erbil:) …the Flag and the Anthem will be introduced tomorrow. When this is done, then parliament can have it’s session and pass the basket of laws that already had there second draft readings:). What comes next should be there monetary policie implementations, hopefully our RV:)
5-1-2013 Newshound Guru Adam Montana First, politics – last week it was looking like Maliki had lost some of his power, but things seem to have swung around to him again. Some say this is bad, some say it’s good… I think it’s good. Here’s why…One thing we know about Maliki is he is Pro-RV. I believe that his actions over the years have shown us that he is willing to bend the heck out of the rules in order to push Iraq forward. Time and again we have seen him come under fire, but he stays the course and seems to emerge unscathed every time. He is definitely the “can do” guy there, and when it’s time to pull the trigger on an RV – he is going to be a major factor in the success, and therefore the rate, of a major change in the value of the Dinar.
5-1-2013 Newshound Guru Adam Montana Speaking of the value of the Dinar, we have seen a MASSIVE amount of reports from the CBI and other sources regarding the intention to redenominate or remove the zeros, and an equally massive amount of articles that contradict that intention. Well, regardless of what they say… the fact that they are talking so much about it tells us that something is cooking. Like they say, where there’s smoke… there’s fire! And the final hot topic of the week is the HCL. Again, nothing but solid movement on that front. While we haven’t seen “the” major breakthrough we need, it is still moving and that is good.
5-1-2013 Newshound Guru Adam Montana So that brings us to a timeline. We are seeing conflicting reports about a date, but July keeps coming up as the time to introduce new notes. You know what else is special about July? Ramadan starts on or about July 7th this year. Now I say this every year…NOTHING significant happens during Ramadan. If the new notes, and most likely the new value, is not introduced before July 7th…then we can count on nothing happening until after August 8th. However, if they decide to push it back that far, that will only complicate everything else that they have made SO MUCH progress on recently… so I think we can be hopeful to see a significant move BEFORE July 7.

5-1-2013 Newshound Guru Doc It has pretty much been status quo for a while now. However, we may (and we say may) have cause to believe the Maliki issue is being resolved. First there were reports that his coalition has lost up to 80 seats in parliament. The best way to get a politicians attention is to show you will take them out of power. Even if Maliki remains his ability to dominate Parliament has definitely been diminished. The good news hear is this is coming from multiple sources inside and outside Iraq and both public and private.
5-1-2013 Newshound Guru Doc The second thing that gives us encouragement is the news quote “… on Tuesday, the Kurdish delegation agreement with the National Alliance and the federal government to pass a law of oil and gas that resolved most of the differences between Baghdad and Kurdistan, in addition to joint security arrangements for the disputed areas and resolve the problem of the salaries of the Peshmerga forces.” We also saw a similar quote originating from Maliki’s coalition. We still take a wait and see position here since these types reports have risen for several years now only to disappoint all. We extremely hope that all the external and internal pressure on Maliki has finally forced him into serious negotiations with his political opponents.

You guessed it – stability! As we continue to show all when these reports talk about stability they continue to refer to the political environment of a power sharing GOI. No we don’t have it and hence all reports of an imminent RV are contrary to all public information. We can also report that true knowledgeable persons inside Iraq have confirmed this. This actually excites us since it suggests what needs to happen prior to any currency reform taking place. When will it happen is anyone’s guess. We report, you decide.

4-30-2013 Newshound Guru Mountainman “The Kurdistan Alliance, on Tuesday, the Kurdish delegation agreement with the National Alliance and the federal government to pass a law of oil and gas that resolved most of the differences between Baghdad and Kurdistan…” It looks like we may finally see the HCL and Article 140 implemented which is a huge step in the right direction for Iraq. The enactment of the Erbil agreement has been delayed for years now but it looks as if that has now been resolved finally.

4-30-2013 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 questions are the name of all todays [Monday] news. more than many other days there are so many article saying agreements have been made??? between najafi, barzani, Maliki etc. Guys be very cautious of the news till it pans out one way or the other. They have agreed many time before with zero action. All the news being stated that came from Maliki’s office is always questioned and is about 90% wrong or untrue. I think something is going on with banking for sure. This confirmed banks have been closed for 7 days in Bagdad. That to me has to mean something its just that no one seems to know why. I have people trying to get more detailed information but it will take 2 days for sure. Be vigilant to pay close attention in the next three days for some action on all the agreements announced today like hcl and others about banking. POPPY3
