9-2-2014 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Article: “Agenda for the meeting (11) Tuesday (2) September 2014″ Quote: “The vote on the formation of the standing committees in the House of Representatives.” This is huge folks. If they do what they say…this will swear in the new Economic Committee among others…this committee is what is going to push banking and economic reforms/laws through parliament. So the sooner they get sworn in, the sooner they can get to work to implement what has been stalled for months.
9-2-2014 RUMOR Guru Mnt Goat Today is Tuesday 09/02 and finally we get an announcement of the distribution of the ministries per bloc/party/sec. Congratulations Iraq! But this is still not exactly what we want and need to see as the fully formed and seated government announcement. But I truly believe it is coming this week. The next step is for the prime minister is to present the names of all the new ministers to parliament and thus at this timeframe probably announce them to the world. He will also announce that his government is “fully” formed or “completed” at this time. I believe this will occur with the next 2 days if not even today. This is so very close at hand.
9-2-2014 RUMOR Guru Mnt Goat So between now and then we wait to hear about the completion of the administration of the oaths of office and the ratification of these candidates by parliament. Then it is official. Then Abadi will make his announcement that we all desire. We know there are many meetings scheduled for this week. There is another Bretton Woods meeting, there is the NATO session to vote on military support for Iraq and there is an Oil Summit also coming up this week. The USA secretary of state John Kerry is heading to Iraq on Thursday too. Does he want to be there for some sort of announcement or is he just stopping in for tea?
9-2-2014 Newshound Guru wmawhite In addition to all of the CBI activity, did you know that Abbadi stated as soon as the GOI is seated that he will move forward immediately with the security and ECONOMIC reforms…economic? I wonder. [sure seems to me that all of the signs are pointing to an impending RV!] If you compare the activity of the CBI to previous years there is no comparison and now an incoming PM stating that he will move forward…it does sound promising…this continues to look good for very good reasons.
9-2-2014 Intel/Newshound Guru tman23 …protesters were able to get by green zone security and then get to the Parliament building and rush the doors…Swat and gold band security was called and members of Parliament were removed from he building…So today was to introduce the ministers to Parliament…and we had a security breach (Maliki.. IMO!!)
9-2-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar Delay Update Post: I just received a phone call that told me that Iraq has been asked to hold the RV for a few days. I can’t go into the reasons but it could as much as another week before we see the RV. The good news is that the ball is in Iraq’s court and they may decide to not honor the hold. I believe this is a selfish act and so do the Iraqi’s. Somebody whom I can’t name is playing politics with the RV for personal reasons.

9-1-2014 Intel Guru Frank26 In 2010, Maliki did not win the election, but he was appointed PM; in 2014 Maliki did win the election, but he was not appointed PM – the USA is in control. In the past 2 years, intel has been gathered against M [Maliki], and at last he has given up and announced he is stepping down. Although we have troops in Iraq, it’s been kept quiet, and our troops have eradicated ISIS and DASH, they are controlled; all will be kept quiet until the new GOI is announced likely next week. IMO, USA will not do any more until the government is announced. IMO, USA is in control, however surrounding with the coalition and Iraqi forces so they get the credit, will not appear as controlled by USA.
9-1-2014 Intel Guru Frank26 IMO, the GOI has already been formed and functioning, the news articles state it’s still being formed, however based on their actions, the GOI is already formed and functioning. Iraqi banks are open in foreign countries – that is powerful. Iraq is witnessing a state of stability and revenue stream is being created by oil sales right before our eyes. Iraq’s new PM is pro-currency reform. IMO, the new GOI will be announced on Sept 9 or 10; the IR [International Rate] could be simultaneous, or soon after – but as always, do not know the date or rate; remember also that Oct 1 is the beginning of the new year.
9-1-2014 Intel Guru SteveI All I want to see is these new guys officially seated and the budget and HCL passed. As [Guru] Ray said, their positions will be official September 7th. I am hopeful anytime after that will be a great opportunity for Iraq to move their country forward. The new PM likes to do things by the constitution, so having this happen before the 7th may be pushing it a bit.
9-1-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar I am truly sorry to say there is a potential delay that just came up. The Iraqi’s have been asked to hold the RV for a few days. This won’t set well with the Iraqi’s but they will take tonight to figure out whether they will hold on not. I should get better clarification in the morning. Again I am so sorry to have to tell you this but I just got the word. If there is a delay it won’t be long.

YESTERDAY THEY SWITCHED TO THE MOST ADVANCED WIRING IN THE WORLD FOR CASH…BANKING. ABADI HAS STATED THAT HE WILL BE ANNOUNCING THE GOV BEFORE THE TIMELINE OF THE 9TH OF SEPT IN THE PRESS. TURKI FROM CBI SAID IN PRESS THAT HE WOULD MOVE FORWARD WITHOUT BUDGET BUT HAS MADE IT CLEAR ABOUT HOW HE FEELS ABOUT THE GOV IMO.
Fact check, It appears that the Governor of the CBI, Turki, is being replaced and he is resigning according to multiple articles.

9-1-2014 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 Article: “Parliamentary bloc: Abadi will receive today the names of candidates Ministries Alkanah new government” Today is supposedly the deadline to get your list of names to Abadi for his review and possible selection as part of his GOI ministry…let’s see if this deadline actually takes or will we hear later of yet another 2 day deadline…nothing being announced from him as yet…rumors of names of course…but that is all we have at this point.

Reform Movement: “the announcement of the new ministerial cab within 72 hours…” if Jaafari is saying there will be an announcement in 72 hours – there probably will.
9-1-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar The agreement is signed as I write this. The Iraqi’s have spent this last week meeting. All sects were involved including the Shia, Sunni, Kurds and Turkman. The purpose which has been the hold up in the process, is to remove the element of “trust” between the sects and put forth a document in writing which identified both the big problems and their solutions. Laws that have been dormant for years like the HCL and Article 104 were moved to the fore front along with their solutions. They were agreed upon to be signed, run in front of parliament and registered with the Iraqi courts and the UN. This document is all important to the process to give everyone that warm fuzzy to vote this new government in. Many of these things could not be done before the government is voted in because they require the new COM to be seated and the Sunni’s and the Kurd’s, having been burnt by the previous Shia government lead by Maliki, were gun shy to vote until they got assurances that the new government was in tune with their concerns and solutions. Both the Kurd’s and the Sunni presented papers of demands and the negotiations commenced. As of this morning sometime we should see that all parties have signed, all agreements are done.
9-1-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar This will be seen by the CBI as a settled position as far as the government goes. The government may or may not take a few more days to form but it is my belief that it will make no difference to the plan. Both the Sunni and Kurd’s have presented their ministers for revue and that revue has already rejected two unqualified applicants. So there is a process at work here to get the most qualified experienced technocrats that they can to run these ministries unlike the last government where you could purchase a ministry if you offered the most money. The process and announcement of the government should be early this week as the Iraqi’s are acting at light speed for them.
9-1-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar Tomorrow we should see our RV providing that the document is/was signed last night and there is every reason to believe it was. The CBI needs this done and it has been waiting patiently since July 1st to introduce monetary change. The last word is that it is still holding in the high threes. My belief is it will be $3.71 and I have my reasons for this. Next week should be a glorious week for both us and the Iraqi’s. I realize there are many that still don’t understand what’s going on or how they can do this. I also realize that if I miss the date by even one day, there are those that will call me a kook. It makes no difference to me. I want everyone to know how close this is to being finished.
9-1-2014 Newshound Gurus Bondlady & tlm724 “Iraq: new government to allow the export of its oil Erbil” *hallelujah*…last week we discussed that the only remaining points on the HCL were to figure out where the proceeds will be deposited and how much oil was excepted from the kurds. “that the new government gave the green light for the region to export its oil to be regulated by it under the terms of the new law for oil and gas” …imo HCL is being finalized. pass those laws we needed to see and bam…still a bit to go but those things are huge…awesome news!
