8-31-2022 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat Article: “MINISTER OF SADR” PUBLISHES THE LAST APPEAL OF THE LEADER OF THE CURRENT” Quote: “I am trying very hard to reform the entire political process in our beloved Iraq…” I am hearing that by Sept 2nd all hell might break lose if there is not the reforms or in motion to accomplish them that Sadr requests.

8-31-2022 Intel Guru MarkZ [via PDK] “Calm returns to Baghdad as supporters of Iraqi cleric heed call to stand down” In other words people packed up and went home…no civil war here. What I am hearing from my contacts on the ground is that they think they are in a “good spot”…With calm returning the Supreme Court is going to strike down the emerging government and allow the caretaker government to take back control so they can move forward with their “white paper” reforms and rates…then they can move on to have open and fair elections. I am hearing things are quickly turning positive in Iraq. They think the caretaker government will be back in a place over the next day or two with the reforms. I am still of the mindset we could be “any moment”. A lot of folks are looking toward end of Sept/Oct…but I think its going to be sooner.

Al-Sadr is reportedly on a hunger strike until the fighting ends…After this next statement by Sadr, the Green Zone was EMPTY within MOMENTS. ‘I sill believe that my supporters are disciplined and obedient and if in the next 60 minutes they do not withdraw as well from parliament then I will abandon these supporters.’

8-30-2022 Intel Guru Fleming …talked to…government contacts in Iraq today…told that the unrest continues with terrible violence in the streets, with weapons of all kinds on display. El Sadr has requested this end now… The Iraq Parliament is formed, sitting in the wings…same as last week. This new Parliament is only waiting for an announcement to be given to the People of Iraq, telling them that the “new Parliament is Formed,” and the international rate will immediately follow. WTH…Immediately following this announcement within a few day’s the new IQD rate will go live on FOREX. The entire world waits because while there is gunfire in the streets there will be no new Parliament.

But Nader…today brings up some excellent points [reference Guru Nader post below] …I think Nader may have hit a home run…Revolution is never bloodless. He points to what is going on in Iraq. Iraqi people are interested in freedom, security and a little extra in their pockets…which is what the revaluation would mean for them. He states they are not celebrating in the streets… It is torches and pitchforks that we are seeing right now in Iraq…

I expect some culmination of all this within days coming out of Iraq. I believe we are only days away from this resolution. …my contacts say it will force things to come to a conclusion quickly. Iraqi people need this.

In every revolution you see…people get hurt…people running away from the country like presidents, corrupt people. That’s what’s happening now. The next 3 days is going to be worse…we’re not celebrating…people are angry, hungry. They have enough. They’re saying enough it’s enough. Now you’re gonna see some changes.

Kazemi is on television saying protesters please stop, obey and be non-violent and stop this! And he said all security forces are to not use live bullets or shoot at anyone…you are required to protect them…

8-30-2022 Intel Guru Frank26 [Iraq boots-on-the-ground report] UN says they have the right to step into any country and demolish the political issues to avoid bloodshed and have not reached that yet in Iraq but are concerned. REPORT 3: All hell is breaking loose in the green zone. 12 have been killed. Over 260 injured as Sadr protesters storm the green zone. Curfew now in effect for us…The streets are not clear. Folks are demanding parliament be dissolved and many are not leaving. Saying they would rather die than ruled by Iranian backed militia. The streets are ugly.

8-30-2022 Intel Guru Frank26 [Iraq boots-on-the-ground report] REPORT 4: Sadr said he’s done with the political world that set his followers off…it’s bad in the streets and the Framework is killing people in the streets. REPORT 5: Sadr making new remarks now he’s saying for all Framework to quit the political scene and let the people of Iraq vote for the government. Sadr calling for calm and stop all violence.

8-30-2022 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Article: “At least 20 people have been killed in the violence in Baghdad’s Green Zone, medical sources tell Al Jazeera.” Usually when this type of violence occurs it’s a major setback. It could take months or even years to stabilize and rebuild what is being destroyed right now. And it certainly does not help encourage investors to get involved in Iraq.

8-30-2022 Newshound Guru Paulette …The Federal Court is hearing the case for dissolution…Legal expert Taminni has clearly laid out the fact that the Federal Court could Dissolve parliament and set up the President to announce the date for early elections and the Caretaker GOI of Kazemi be given Emergency Powers… That is what I am hopeful for!

Everything is going in the direction of Mustafa of the CBI…government…reforms…white papers…Everything is already international.

8-30-2022 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Tensions in Iraq are beginning to rise violence is now starting. There’s been some rockets falling on the green zone including near the US Embassy. This is getting out of hand. The inability to form a government under the current political situation has come to ahead in Iraq.
