Redomination refers to just chopping off the three zeros – a 25,000 dinar note you would chop off the three zeros so it is worth about 25. It would be a neutral event if they redenominate the currency. Sometimes it’s referred to as a lop. They lop the 3 zeros. We don’t make any money…Iraq’s inflation rate is…3%. Kuwait’s inflation rate is about 2.5%…If Iraq’s inflation was out of control, redenomination would probably be the likely way of it going. If they never intended to revalue the currency, if they were just going to cut the 3 zeros off…they could have done that easily over the last 23 years. They haven’t. There’s a reason for it. There’s been a plan in place all these years for there to be a substantial value with these notes that we hold.

8-28-2026 Intel Guru Bruce [via WiserNow] we had heard that Iraq had lower denominations of so-called new Iraqi dinar… these lower denominations were supposed to be in the ATM machines in Iraq, and we’ve heard that they were in there for months, and maybe even over a year now…They’ve been in the process for years talking about removing the three zeros and taking the value of those notes down by those three zeros in country, So a 25k note would be worth 25 dinar, a 10k 10 dinar, a 5k 5 dinar, and a 1k 1 dinar…not ours, only in country for Iraq… Now that has been taking place, and I believe was completed by Sunday… We had heard they were going to have the new lower denominations available on Monday…That means that they had a new value for the dinar.
