8-22-2016 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG [It seems like so many things like Mosul , corruption , parliament , etc. are coming together … many have said things.will happen all at once … do you see this as a coincidence?] I do not see those items as coincidence… THESE ITEMS ARE THE STORY. IMHO. Not getting into date and rate here – I’m just saying – the progress is stunning AND… it surely leads to the step we are all interested in…the point of currency reform the includes a change in the value of the IQD…However, I make this point again…currency reform – value change…what we are after…is just one of the steps they will likely take in the whole process of economic reform and full reintegration with the world’s financial systems…this whole process is playing out PLAINLY – before our VERY EYES…Things are VERY, VERY exciting lately.

8-22-2016 Guest Guru EHankins THIS PAST WEEK AND TODAYS ARTICLES ARE A CLEAR AND PRECISE INDICATION OF ALL THE INFRASTRUCTURE GROWING AND EVEN BOOMING. AND COMMERCE AND TRADING ARTICLES SHOWING PICTURES OF HUGE SEMI-TRUCKS BACKED UP FOR FOR MILES WANTING TO UNLOAD ENDLESS SUPPLIES AND GOODS COMING ACROSS THE BORDER. THE BUILDINGS BEING BUILT LIKE AIRPORTS OPENING IN SEPTEMBER, APARTMENT COMPLEXES, SHOPPING MALLS AND OF COURSE HOMES BY THE THOUSANDS. IRAQ’S NEW GROWTH IN THEIR COMMUNITIES AND CITIES ARE BREATH TAKING AND STUNNING, TO SAY THE LEAST. IMO THIS IS WHAT WE WERE TOLD TWO WEEKS AGO TO PAY ATTENTION TO. IN FACT…THAT WE WOULD SEE IRAQ GROW ON STEROIDS IN THE NEAR FUTURE AND, HERE IT IS RIGHT BEFORE OUR EYES…BOOM!

8-22-2016 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG [In you opinion could this literally happen any at time as in today…or are there more benchmarks to look for such as lower denoms or critical dates?] here’s my take…with the recent WB/IMF/UN oversight in Iraq – things are changing rapidly – security, political, economic – these things Maliki should have been working on 8 years ago – they are getting done NOW – at “warp speed”…today – tomorrow? I doubt it…soon? [ill take soon.] Not impossible – but the next however long looks VERY, VERY promising…

8-22-2016 Intel Guru ADMINBILL I’m awaiting some specific confirmations at this time. Until those confirmations arrive, I remain grounded and optimistic for a positive accomplishment report regarding specific events. That is yet to come. We’re not quite there yet. I AM HOPING FOR GOOD NEWS BEFORE MONTH’S END.

8-22-2017 Newshound Guru Breitling …it’s not a prediction it’s what we are talking about in Vietnam itself…you know I would never just throw a number out there unless it’s something that the government has talked about or they proposed and they’ve always proposed they wanted to get it [dong] up to two cents…remember they are competing against China and geopolitics…that’s what creates the pace. At the time when Vietnam talked about that they actually wanted to add a little value to the currency, well because of other politics that were going on in the region, China decided to start devaluing it’s currency and so it forced Vietnam to shelf adding value to the currency. Well that’s off the table now…it’s not a prediction it’s what Vietnam wants

8-21-2016 Intel Guru SteveI I think things are extremely positive…Now we watch Mosul return to being free followed by controlling the borders, then watch Iraq explode economically and globally. Sit back and let it come to you, and it surely will when they are ready. I think they are ready or almost ready. Remember, if I thought there was even a slight chance of this not happening I would simply…move on. Good times ahead!

So far we’re at a stalemate, especially now that Tariq Harb is saying Mahmood can’t be forced out, but hopefully the good guys come out on top. The judiciary is going to be even more important pretty soon, the investigative teams and UN can find all the evidence against the corrupt but in the end, Iraq needs a functioning judiciary to charge, prosecute and imprison those who are guilty. Right now, with Mahmood in, they don’t have that. IMO.

They need a permanent contingency plan for now and the future to be able to generate income away from oil!

That being said, this committee is there to clean up the mess so reforms can proceed.
