Iraqi Dinar Guru opinions/predictions8-11-2014 Newshound Guru Millionday MALIKI IS SAYING THAT HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN NAMED THE PM AND THAT THE PRESIDENT WENT AGAINST THE CONSTITUTION BUT EVERYONE ELSE IS DISAGREEING – INCLUDING THE US…HE IS TRYING TO MAKE THE POINT THAT THE ATTACKS WILL GET WORSE DUE TO HIM NOT BEING PUT IN AS PM. IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT HE IS NOT GOING TO SERVE THE 3RD TERM — HE IS THERE UNTIL THE NEW PM IS PLACED. WHAT MALIKI AND HIS FRIENDS ARE DOING IS ILLEGAL — HE IS NOT ABLE TO CONSPIRE WITH THUGS AND HOLD PEOPLE AT GUN POINT OF THE IRAQI GOV AND THREATEN OR SCARE OR PLACE TERRORISTIC THREATS…

8-11-2014 Newshound Guru Millionday I WOULD SAY THAT THE ISSUE UNDER INTERNATIONAL LAW WILL BE RESOLVED…SPECIAL FORCES WOULD RESOLVE THIS VERY QUICKLY. SO KNOW THAT THIS WILL NOT BE AN ON GOING EVENT BY ANY MEANS. [if the US decides to stay in Iraq will they have to stay at the imposed rate? or can they still RV?] THEY ARE WORKING ON THE REFORMS SEPARATELY FROM THE SECURITY ISSUES — THEY CAN STILL MOVE FORWARD AS WE SEE THE PROGRESS THEY ARE DOING NOW. [Do we need the Budget passed for the RV? Or no?] NOT IN MY OPINION.

8-11-2014 Newshound Guru Chattels Quote: “Haydar al-Abbadi Is the New Iraq PM Candidate Posted by Reidar Visser on Monday, 11 August 2014 13:48…Today, what remains of the pan-Shiite National Alliance formally presented Haydar al-Abbadi of the Daawa party as their PM candidate. Abbadi will be charged by President Fuad Masum to replace the current PM, Nuri al-Maliki.” Let’s revel for a moment in the prospect of peace and harmony in Iraq. [So this new guy might be supportive of RV being former finance minister?] Godspeed the completion of the Iraqi banking sector reform project! Come “RV”!

8-11-2014 Newshound Guru Chattels Quote: “Haydar al-Abbadi is a former finance minister who is well liked by groups outside the Daawa and State of Law, who elected him as deputy speaker for the new parliament earlier. He will now have 30 days to present his cabinet for approval by the Iraqi parliament with an absolute majority.”

8-11-2014 Intel Guru SteveI I have every reason to believe my sources that is telling me that former Prime Minister Maliki is now officially history. Yes will continue to rattle some cages, but nothing will become of it. I hope now focuses on his exit plans vs. his continued third term. I do believe it he stays and causes trouble, he will be arrested pursuant to the current charges against him in the International Courts. Our day is almost here. Now the next focus will be the rest of the laws including the budget. Bright days ahead for all of us.

8-11-2014 Intel Guru Mnt Goat So today’s news is all very, very good news as it went from very bad to very good in a couple of days once again. So the clock stops ticking and the new PM was announced today on Monday. Ibrahim al-Jaafari said today in a statement that the alliance of Shiite political parties has agreed to nominate Haider al-Ibadi to replace Maliki and to form a new government. He is also voted in by parliament and accepted by the majority. He has not however taken his oath of office yet to begin his job. Since the PM is now selected (the third of the three presidents) we wait for the oath of office to be administered and the public announcement. This will be our sign that the RV is just around the corner. I want to emphasize once again this final announcement of the IQD going international will not happen until the USA feels the Iraq government is stable, non-sectarian and is a functional government.

8-11-2014 Newshound Guru lojak Its getting more “official” by the minute! Quotes: “Jaafari’s office: infallible Abadi officially commissioned and convey it in a press conference” “Nominated and the Iraqi National Alliance, earlier in the day Monday, first deputy chairman of the Council of Representatives Haider Abadi for prime minister, a majority of 127 deputies.” For over a month, it has been blatantly clear in articles that he [Maliki] was going to leave. I think he may now just move on fairly quickly. With the Supreme Court ruling against him today…he is totally without recourse. he is still PM of the caretaker govt until they vote in Abadi…according to a phone call I just got. the state dept has already met with Jabouri and Masaoum and is pushing hard to get this to Parl at the earliest moment.

8-11-2014 Newshound Guru tman23 Isn’t all the news just GRAND! A COUP…NO COUP…IN, OUT, UP, DOWN…A negative following every positive…Misinformation is abundant. But official reports now say Adadi is the name…There will be no constitutional legal arguments that have any merit, not with the US, Britain, France, and Japan overseeing the finer details.

8-10-2014 Newshound Guru lojak “Sources within the Rashid Hotel in central Baghdad on the detention of a large number of deputies, including the head of the new parliament in the hotel and the imposition of house arrest amid them hear the voices of intermittent fire” what we dont know at this point is who are these forces?…they could very well be security forces NOT loyal to Maliki, but sent there to anticipate problems…its waaaaay to early to jump to conclusions. There isn’t an actual coup, Baghdad is calm. Maliki has raised the stakes through his statement, it’s the Iraqi form of poker (or chicken) .

8-10-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar We all realize this is an unfolding story. Maliki is paranoid, knows he is going to be arrested, has 25 billion dollars and does control the military at this point. He has been threatening everybody including al-Sistani in the last 24 hours and saying the fires of hell have will be let loose if the will of the people is not honored (he is referring to all the votes he stole as he thinks he has the peoples mandate in his mind). Then we get an article saying that Massoum’s house has been blown up. Massoum threatened to quit because of threats and pressure being made by Maliki. And then security forces are spread out all over Bagdad that nobody knows for sure who controls them and the green zone is now on lockdown.

8-10-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar Then this article stating that the MP’s staying at this hotel, the Rashid which would be many MP’S all out of towners from the Sunni areas and Kurdistan and all towns outside of Bagdad like Basra etc., which includes the new POP are all under house arrest. It looks all the world to me like those forces Maliki said would be released on Iraq are being released by Maliki himself. This looks to me like what it probably is, a military coup with Maliki trying to take control over the government of Iraq by force. I may be a little pre-mature guys in saying this, but if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, well you know where I am going with this. I hope I’m wrong.

8-10-2014 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG Maliki trying to arrest all of Parliament and all the major political leaders.

8-10-2014 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Maliki has surrounded himself and Tweets of explosions in or near his presidential palace. Maliki was just on Iraqi TV basically saying he will not step down. That the president has violated the constitution for failing to nominate him for a 3rd term. Immediately thereafter that broadcast, he has deployed troops around the green zone.

8-10-2014 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 Source: “Masum cost-Maliki to form the government and the Badr and independents withdrew their reservations upon” So the debate continues…who is the biggest…definitely Maliki thinks he is the biggest and definitely can cause the most damage if he does not get his way…but the National Alliance seems to be hanging on as well…and President Massoum appears to want to give the NA leadership every possible chance to put a name on the table…someone that will be capable of replacing Maliki…I’m just not sure the NA will find a “willing” candidate who does not feel threatened by Maliki’s forces…one way or another it would seem that the next few hours hold an announcement to be made…a decision…and the future of Iraq.

8-10-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar Its insane for them to still have not announced a PM this late in the game. The most encouraging article is the one saying the coalition has finally decided to quit negotiating with…(Maliki and the leadership of the SOL) and will decide who will be the nominee while ignoring Maliki and his party altogether. They should have done this 2 weeks ago. Instead they have continued to try to work it out up until the final hour. Masum will pick the NA over the SOL. The SOL is only now potentially 25 guys out of a total of 178 and will NOT be allowed to dictate who the PM will be. The coalition better come forward quickly with their nominee.
