7-3-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar Press release: “Announced the CBI to conduct a number of improvements on his cards and cash by placing signs new security feature high protection against counterfeiting with changes in some designs banknotes” This article follows on the heels of the announcement by Kuwait of their printing their new bills with all the new security features. Tit for tat. These are the bills (5 trillion) Iraq printed a few months back and are still distributing. There is a lot going on we will never be privy to but things are moving ahead. When government (is) put together we will see RV within days. The rate has not changed between $3.25 and $3.65.

7-3-2014 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Press Release: “The Iraqi Central Bank announced a number of improvements on his cash marks a new security feature high protection against counterfeiting with changes in some of the designs of banknotes” this appears to be the changes to the larger bills for added security…the CBI made “enhancements” to the smaller 250, 500s bills as well a few months ago. It does not mean new notes…other than reprinting of current denominations with some changes and security features. More importantly the CBI would never do this if they expected to “over night” RV… I cannot say it often enough…this is going to be a gradual appreciation…and it will not start until the laws are passed, the GOI is seated and the violence stops. Then… the CBI will open the capital account, change to Article VIII and new Exchange Regime and the dinar will begin to rise based on the economic conditions…the Balassa-Samuelson effect.

7-3-2014 Newshound Guru Adam Montana Right now we have 2 things going against an RV – the stalled elections and Ramadan. But on the other hand, we have one thing that is starting to look very positive in the near future – the KRG is in a much stronger position and this will force Maliki to either make concessions or be pushed out. We all know he doesn’t want to be pushed out! When he makes the concessions, or is pushed out, Iraq as a country will be stronger and it will lead into everything we need to see for them to raise the value of their currency…which, by the way, is remaining strong in spite of the political, holiday, and ISIS situations. We will not see an RV in July…, but I will continue to monitor the situation

7-3-2014 Intel/Newshound Guru American Contractor The Shia cleric from Najaf al-Sistani never mentioned the removal of PM Nuri Maliki, just that the political groups nominate the three presidents by 1 July. Well, we know what happened and no Speaker, President and Prime Minister were nominated. There is much infighting between the groups to come to an agreement. I fully expect next Tuesday, July 8th to be the same if they even meet at all. If the political parties do not have a name that they all can agree on before the meeting next Tuesday, there will not be an Iraqi parliament meeting.

7-2-2014 RUMOR Guru DC [via Adept1] In Iraq…a PM has been selected just not announced, and the key positions are all accounted for. Maliki is still around but his influence is waning. The rest of Iraq has everyone falling in line with the new government, and the Sunnis agree to follow the new PM. Everyone has cut the best deal for their constituents, with international help. The Qi card rates are being adjusted to the RI, and that is happening throughout the country, according to the six folks we talk to throughout Iraq. Things look exceptionally good and we are basically in the same window…Everything from Monday is the same, it looks phenomenal, and we are expecting phone calls at any minute.

7-2-2014 Newshound Guru Administrator Bob Today’s news focuses on some late information that the Kurdish region has announced the design of there own currency. The Central Bank of Iraq also released new specifications/security features for the larger denomination bills. This in our opinion clearly indicates that the existing currency will remain in circulation for several more months.

They are ACTUALLY SITTING their GOVERNMENT for the first time in 10 years! That factor ALONE is Galactic in proportions compared to their lackadaisical pace and YOU are WITNESSING it.

7-2-2014 Intel Guru TD Yesterday’s parliamentary debacle where people walked out after Maliki’s name was brought up clearly shows that these factions are deeply divided and ready to move on. Barzani is hinting that Iraq has at best “a couple months” to straighten itself out or referendum by their parliament will declare to the world their independence. At this point, nothing short of handing over power to the Kurds will stop the inevitable: dividing Iraq into 3 states.

7-2-2014 Intel Guru TD However Maliki will not go away quietly and there is hardly a charismatic, trouble free, adoring candidate to rule Iraq to the satisfaction of all parties. All this translates to is a huge mess which will require months to sort through. Many state that all the media coverage is “being blown way out of proportion”. A United Nations report also out yesterday estimated 1500 civilians (total 2417) died in June. All this begs the question : Why would ANYONE believe that Iraq is on the verge of RI, RD or RV?
