They said they have to send it off.” Do not allow that to happen…Maybe you have to drive an hour. If that’s the case so be it. You’re going to find out which branches verifies the currency and can do the exchange right there for you. Again, if that money leaves your sight…this can go wrong and things could happen…We’re talking about potentially tens…hundreds of thousands, millions of dollars. That’s nothing to mess around with. You want to be very very careful.

The lady at the teller said yes. I said, How are you going to verify it? She pointed over at a machine. I said, what is that? She goes, a De LaRue machine…I said would you mind verifying something on your machine? She goes, yeah, no problem. I just happen to have some [dinar] with me…On the…little screen..Iraqi dinar was IQD… I said, punch that one right there. She punched the IQD on the screen. She put the [dinar] money up at the top, ran it through, and it come up with the same amount that I gave her earlier. So, it verified the dinar? She goes, yeah, it’s all verified. She handed it back to me and pointed across…every girl at the teller line had that new De La Rue machine in front of them. Three of them and there’s one out back…She goes, we just got them in…She never done it before. I was the first one that she’s ever done that before to verified foreign currency…The first screen with the US on it was full of currency initials but she had to go to the second screen to get to the IQD.
7-26-2026 Intel Guru Bruce [via WiserNow] I do not have confirmation that we have new rates on the screens at the redemption centers, nor at the banks yet, but we do feel that is something that we need to have solid rates, not flashing …So typically, what happens is the Forex lights up with new rates on Wednesday or on Sunday…when it reopens in the United States… reopens at about five or 5:30 Sunday in the afternoon…and according to a particular source, we will see notifications early in the week, but have exchanges started no later than Thursday of this coming week…
7-25-2026 Newshound Guru Stephen Community comment, ‘President Trump holds Iraqi dinar.’ I’ve heard this as a common theme over the last 15 years…I’ve heard these arguments even before President Trump ran for the presidency…back when he was on the apprentice. A lot of people would say, Donald Trump owns 30 billion Iraqi dinar. It sounds good. It’s interesting to say the least, but that is not public information. No on knows at all if President Trump owns dinar or not. It would seem likely that he probably owns Iraqi dinar. I would venture to bet he owns at least some Iraqi dinar…It seems very plausible but none of us could say with 100% certainty that he does or does not.

Maybe you have to drive four or five hours to get to that bank that will in your presence, in front of your eyes, verify your currency, certify it, convert it, and deposit US dollars into that account and hand you a deposit slip. That’s what you want.

This person said I’m going to go to a “redemption center”, this person said I need to send my money to them so they can verify it and then they would deposit in my bank account. I’m here to disprove all of those rumors. Some of them are going to be known scams. Whenever there’s large amounts of money involved, you have to be very careful and very skeptical of people’s motivations.

Why? I know of an investment law that needs to be put in place and parliament intends to work on passing it during their current session.
