7-24-2014 Newshound Guru Stryker After a long day in Parliament Iraq has a new President and his name is Fuad Masum, a well respected Kurd with the vision of a National Non Sectarian Unity for Iraq. Article Quote: “the constitutional period to choose a prime minister is 15 days after the selection of the president.” 15 Days Now To See A New Prime Minister…Now the Speaker of the House of Representatives calls on the new elected President to announce the largest bloc and for them to assign their nominee for Prime Minister. Parliament will reconvene on the 5th of August to vote in a new Prime Minister. We are now down to days and not months, when we see a new government formed completely that will implement many changes in Iraq. With the right GOI I believe Turki will finally be able to launch the project that will change the lives of many in the world.

7-24-2014 Intel Guru Mnt Goat Voting for the new Iraq president is now done and that makes two out of the three presidents now seated. Fuad Masum wins the post of President of the Republic of Iraq. We now await for the speaker to announce the next session when they will vote for the new PM. When this occurs, and if successful, we will be in an excellent window to finally see the international rollout of the IQD. The question I have now is – What is the new target date for voting on the new prime minister?

7-24-2014 Intel Guru Mnt Goat I also believe, and so I am also hearing from my sources, that the budget passing and opening must coincide with the prime minister being seated and with all his cabinet. Remember the RV does not depend on the budget but the budget needs the RV when opened…technically the budget must coincide or come later than the RV. However I do not think they want to delay the budget anymore than they have to and so they are also trying desperately to coincide the two events. This is why we are hearing now the great rush to get the budget passed… I want to emphasize once again this final announcement of the IQD going international will not happen until the USA feels the Iraq government is stable, non-sectarian and is a functional government. This is has been the plan all along.

7-24-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar a vote was taken in parliament and the Kurdish nominee, Faud Masum was elected to be President of Iraq. They are in the process now of electing his VP’s, a Shia and a Sunni, and then by law he has 15 days to nominate the Prime Minister position. In reality that should not take 15 days as the deal for Prime Minister is kind of like the deal was for the Presidency in the coalition. It is more likely he will nominate the PM position late today or tomorrow. Jubouri is pushing this along very quickly. No word yet as I write this whether Maliki has officially resigned. Also no word on the budget as of yet… Its all good and just as we had hoped for…this will be over soon. I personally think parliament will reconvene before August 5th but that is just a guess and I know it goes against logic seeing as how the parliament has officially adjourned until then. There is still work to be done.

7-24-2014 RUMOR Guru Mnt Goat They must choose a president within 30 days of electing a speaker. The clock started ticking on 7/16. I believe they will have the president announced tomorrow 7/24, as advertised. They will then tell us the date for the next session to vote on the prime minister. They must nominate a new prime minister within 15 days of the president’s election, so this will bring them to a constitutional deadline to seat the PM by around the first week in August. I strongly believe they will have a vote in the next session which will be a week from today 7/23 and not have to wait till August. The PM will be seated at that time.

7-24-2014 RUMOR Guru Mnt Goat From my perspective everything now in the election process has settled down and we are seeing real progress and its all on track. Remember that technically the IQD has already revaluated in- country and we are just waiting for the final rollout to the international financial sector. The CBI has stated many times that they fully intend to complete the rollout process in the coming weeks and so I believe this is their intent and I see no reason now (with more and more stability in Iraq everyday) that this would not happen according to their new plan. Iraq can not move forward in all the required financial sectors of the international community with the lowest artificial currency rate they have had in 50 years. Things can now move forward quickly and will.

7-24-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar Jubouri postponed the introduction of President Nominees and the vote on the vote 24 hours. He did this because the Kurds had 2 nominees and Jubouri did not want to see the potential for a screw up in votes. Jubouri not wanting to take that chance, postponed the vote 24 hours with instructions to the Kurds to come back with a single nominee. So this afternoon the Kurdish block voted by themselves in secret ballot to choose a nominee that represents all Kurds as the nominee for president. Smart move by Jubouri. The Kurds are now prepared and they can have the vote in parliament tomorrow assuring that the SOL’s nominees will loose and the Kurdish nominee will get the PM job.

7-24-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar Parliament did not waste the time though because Jubouri went right to work on the budget setting up committees to make sure it is ready quickly. He became my hero today…he has only been in office since last Sunday and he is pushing everything along as fast as humanly possible given all the roadblocks Maliki and the SOL keep throwing at him. Of other note it appears Maliki has finally resigned per an article that came out late today… We are attempting to get verification from other sources but it looks to me as he finally is out of the picture. Things are going very well and it is even expected that the nominees for PM will be introduced tomorrow [Thursday] by the new President. Things are moving very quickly. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this is almost over.

Fact check, Maliki HAS NOT RESIGNED, the Federal Court decided that he has the majority of votes and has the right to form the new Iraqi Government. This issue with Malkiki is far from being over.

7-23-2014 RUMOR Guru They said they would announce the President this morning and now they are saying they will do it on Thursday or Friday. They are announcing that on the news. Yesterday they said there was a new PM, but didn’t say who it is. This morning they went in to take the Parliament vote; it was delayed two hours. We are waiting for the results now. Obviously things are great and we’re excited where they are. We are hearing nothing but good information at this time. There is a plan and everyone is happy with the plan. They are determining the timeframe with a few tweaks to make this happen.

7-23-2014 RUMOR Guru DC There was a bad bombing in Baghdad and that delayed Parliament, but we should still get some announcements today. Parliament, CBI, border security are all ready. Maliki is physically in Iraq, and would like the honor of doing the RV announcement, but will probably not get PM or anything else, so he is pushing on issues relating to the announcement. The CBI is connected to all the banking systems, and everything is ready in Iraq. They are just waiting on announcement times. The UN Security Council is happy with all the people selected, like they were last week as well. In DC, everyone is ready at the IMF and the UST… Everything is nicely tuned up and waiting on the announcement of the RV and the Presidency and PM. They should occur at the same time or close to it. There are official plans ready to be implemented, and we just have to see how those turn out.
