I don’t know what they’re doing but they’re pairing the Iraqi dinar with many currencies around the world and that pairing is bringing the Iraqi dinar on an international stage, not fully accepted yet, but greatly appreciated…

7-23-2023 Newshound/Intel Guru RVAlready IMO we now wait on one guy, Alaq, at the CBI. This is in his hands now…the RV is completely his responsibility…The RV in Iraq does not require anything. Alaq revalues the Dinar and releases the lower denoms. Nothing to do with the budget…I think we will see this very soon. I think everyone wants the RV before Aug 1. Most folks think this weekend.

7-22-2023 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Can the Iraqi dinar go up in value? Of course it can but it will never go up significantly overnight. If they decide to raise it, it will go up gradually over months and years. Iraq could never handle an overnight RV not to mention the expense.

7-22-2023 Intel Guru MarkZ Rumor…from someone on the street that it is accurate…we heard that the rate changed from 1 – 1300 to 1-1132. That’s a massive change, especially since we’ve been told for about 6 months to expect one more rate change for de-dollarization and then “BAM” we get the big one. So, it appears that they have made that move…the CBI is still showing 1300 so that’s the part that has me confused right now…I will look for the concrete proof of that.

7-22-2023 Newshound Guru Pimpy I know there’s a lot of chitter-chatter going on about all the things that are going on with the Iraq bank. I get it. I understand that. But just understand there’s changes happening that Iraq wants to do more to make sure funds are available for projects…personal loans….for people who want to start businesses. This all helps the Iraqi economy grow. Doesn’t mean much at the moment. It depends on how many people come in and are successful with taking out a loan and being able to do something with the money they take out.

nothing. But all of a sudden…this exchange rate comes out of nowhere like Godzilla coming out of the ocean and surprising with a big roar, ‘Our official exchange rate is 1132.’ No it’s not. You’ve been telling everybody it’s 1320…If you remember, I told you I was hoping they would get this down to 1100 or to around 1000. In that way we can just drop the zeros and we’re at 1 to 1.

7-22-2023 Newshound Guru Militia Man [via PDK] There are…things we are hoping to see in the next short period of time. …I am looking to see the 2023, 24, 25 budget allocations …they need to start spending money on projects. We will hopefully see things come to fruition in a short period of time. We are in a fascinating time frame… everyone and their brother are chomping at the bit to have a previous era exchange rate that’s internationally accepted to do business with in the region…everyone is coming to Iraq. These are exciting times and I am feeling very upbeat.
