7-22-2014 Newshound Guru Millionday [considering they are transforming to a new market, what is the suspected time line for a reality rate adjustment to meet the transition…?] WHEN THEY MOVE TO A GLOBAL MARKET ECONOMY THEY WILL HAVE TO HAVE A PRICE FOR THE DINAR THAT IS A REALITY AND CALCULATED VALUE FOR THE PRICING INDEX IN THE COUNTRY AND ALSO THE ISX AND ESX AND ALSO THE GLOBAL MARKET FOR EXPORTS AND IMPORTS AS WELL. [Its very little doubt we’ll see a rv in July?] I DONT KNOW THE DATE BUT SEE THAT IT CAN HAPPEN AT ANYTIME – NOTHING IS KEEPING IT FROM MOVING FORWARD WITH THE INDEPENDENCE THAT CBI HOLDS – AT THE SPEED THEY ARE GOING IT HAS TO BE PUT IN PLACE TO MOVE TO THE MARKET ECONOMY THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT AND ANNOUNCING TO THE CITIZENS.

[where do u think a managed float would start at monetary wise, IYO?] I DONT KNOW THE RATE BUT WOULD THINK THAT A 2% FLOAT ONE WAY OR THE OTHER WOULD BE THE MANAGED AMOUNT IF IT GOES HOW IT LOOKS TO ME TO BE THE BEST RESOLVE BUT DONT HAVE THIS IN INK…

7-22-2014 Newshound Guru Millionday they are stating that the budget will be addressed wed [Wednesday] along with the presidency…they have said that the two readings are done and they were considering with some very important laws just to vote them through and listed the budget as being one of them — so if they dont change their mind they may just vote it through — the constitution gave them 30 days from parliament seated to have PM in place and 15 days from elected in officers of parliament which is the 23rd if i remember right.

7-21-2014 RUMOR Guru DC [via Duke] …we understand every position is picked out and ready to go. The UN Security Council is okay with everybody they’ve picked. They are waiting for specific timelines – 2 they are working on. They have been trying to hold off until the 3 main positions are released. CBI, new speaker, PM, etc. are all ready. Iraq is ready to go….they have been ready. It’s now just a coordination schedule with everyone else. There are a little bit politics being played about when it gets revealed. Quite simply, that’s what we’re waiting on. It could be anytime now.

7-21-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar [What measures, if any, have been taken to ensure that M [Maliki] can’t just go in and get his grubbby little paws on the CBI reserves as he has done in the past…if he is not 100% removed?] Maliki never stole the reserves. He borrowed 5 billion personally from the CBI when Shabibi was in charge and never made a payment nor has he returned the money. Then for the last 6 years he has tried to get to the reserves saying he needed them for projects and infrastructure all of which were just excuses. He started a campaign in his government for calls to give the reserves to the government as he was accusing first Shabibi and then Turki of ineptness and theft.

7-21-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar He has attempted to borrow from the reserves on numerous occasions the last time being when the 2014 budget wasn’t passed, he wanted to borrow the money to keep the government running. He has a history of attempts to get his hands on the reserves and it is my belief that Turki got therm out of the country to safe guard them from Maliki, not the ISIS. If he had been able to bust the reserves and use them for whatever, we most likely would not be discussing this today as he would have destroyed the plan if he could.

7-21-2014 RUMOR Guru There are still meetings going and all those people are still getting together to make final decisions. There was no hold-up, fuss or fight. Just final decisions, some of what need to be made today. There’s really not that much more to say. Banks have been ready for months and months now. Final plans are being laid out. The IMF is ready. BIS is ready. World Bank is ready. Iraq definitely has everything they need, from their banking system to the QI Cards, to the GOI, speakers, PM, president, etc. It’s all got to be coordinated to that one hour so speculators don’t jump on it. That’s really the fine point. Others can say this and that has to happen, but most of those things have already happened. …I can tell it can be at any time. 99% of the people involved are ready and are trying to decide the best time.

7-21-2014 RUMOR Guru we are waiting for the new PM to be announced as seated…from that point on then and only then will we expect this rv. the parliament is all done, the budget approved, all we now need is the announcements of the the president and two pm’s and we are through. i do not give out rates or dates but its high,very high…its coming. very swiftly and unannounced.

7-21-2014 Intel Guru Mnt Goat They must choose a president within 30 days of electing a speaker. The clock started ticking on 7/16. I believe they will have the president announced on 7/23. As the president of the parliament, Salim al-Jabouri opened the door for nominations to the presidency for a period of three days starting on Wednesday (16/07/2014). So far I have heard all the nominations for president were sent to parliament on time. They must nominate a new prime minister Within 15 days of the president’s election, so this will bring them to a constitutional deadline to seat the PM by first week in August. Finally we not only see the light at the end of the tunnel but we are beginning to feel daylight and it feels very good for the people of Iraq and for us as investors in Iraq. There is a new government being formed, free of the Iranian influence and Maliki tyranny.

7-21-2014 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Let’s go Article VIII! I really believe Article VIII is coming this year. When you look back at the 2013 Article IV Consultation, the IMF called for the CBI some 5-6 times to move to Article VIII in that report. IMO, the reason they have held off on the 2014 report is to give the CBI time to accomplish this request. This article is very “matter of fact” with this statement…”He pointed out during his speech for the “morning” that this trend will strengthen the position of local trade internationally, after the currency gained international acceptance process,…” Quote: “pointing to the importance of activating the measures adopted in the present time..” They mean now! my optimism is good but I don’t forget the government needs to be formed, laws need to be passed, and they need to get control of the terrorism.

He now is trying to obstruct the voting for president by nominating a bunch of guys from the SOL which he intends to run one after another in an attempt to stall the process. We have already seen an article where the SOL is stating Wednesday they should just introduce the nominees not vote on them. I’m sure they would love to postpone another week the actual vote. He claims is trying to punish the Kurds for their “polices” but the truth is different. He is just trying to stall the process of building the government.

7-21-2014 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 NO OFFICIAL WITH THE CBI OR IMF HAS EVER STATED ANYTHING ABOUT A FLOAT…THEY WANT A FIXED RATE THEY CAN MAINTAIN FOR 24 TO 36 MONTHS TO ALLOW FURTHER STABILIZATION OF THEIR ECONOMY WITH THE NEW RATE. THE IMF AND CBI HAVE ALWAYS SAID THAT THEIR RATE WOULD BE THE MOST VALUABLE IN THE MIDDLE EAST MAKING IT THE MOST VALUABLE IN THE WORLD BECAUSE AT PRESENT THE KUWAIT DINAR IS THE MOST VALUABLE IN THE WORLD @ $3.58 LAST TIME I CHECKED ABOUT A MONTH AGO.

7-21-2014 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 I HAVE SAID JUST LIKE THE IMF WEB SITE STATED IN 2010, THEY APPROVED $3.22 PLUS UP TO 20% MORE FOR INFLATION MEANING UP TO $3.86. EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE FOUND MUCH MORE RESERVES THAN AT THAT TIME…I STILL SUSPECT WE WILL SEE A RATE WITHIN THAT RANGE.

7-21-2014 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 Article: “Mehdi al-Hafez: positive movements of the adoption of the budget” Simply put, it is believed the 2014 budget can be approved and that there will be a serious endeavor and attempt by the Parliament to do so…even before the complete formation of the government.

7-21-2014 Intel Guru Mnt Goat we have waited anxiously for he next session of parliament to decide the next “president” if Iraq…this is now the actual presidential position (outgoing Talibani) they will now be voting on along with his two vice presidents in Wednesday’s session. I strongly believe that these are the only positions they will be voting on in Wednesdays session. They will then take one more week to put the presidents cabinet together and solidify the nominations for the prime minister, the last of the presidential vacancies to fill. This is what I am hearing from my Iraq contact.

7-21-2014 Intel Guru Mnt Goat Many of us expect this week to be a pivotal week in the revaluation of our dinar investment. I have to tell you I think it will be but not in the context of a revaluation announcement as most think will happen. Also do not expect other major announcements all happening on Wednesday as some believe it will happen. We are going to have to wait yet another week for the PM voting process to play out and then we have a very, very good window following that next session on 7/30 to see our RV. Remember also they have not formally announced the next session after Wednesday’s so it could be bumped up or moved out further. Let’s see what happens.
