This stability might strengthen the IQD… However renewed sanctions or military conflict could disrupt oil exports and regional trade exerting downward pressure on the IQD…The stakes remain high.

I love seeing this enormous amount of political pressure. This law should be before parliament before the middle of June.

6-8-2025 Newshound Guru Pimpy What we’re hoping they’ll do is make it where the central bank digital currency is being used for digital banking but still allow customers to come in and be able to take out physical cash. Doesn’t sound like it. All the articles I’m reading, it’s not going to happen. So still looking into this because I’m not sure 100% what that means…for people who are holding on to the dinar as an investment. Are we going to be able to swap it for our cash or do we have to find some form of wallet so we can swap it for the CBDC?

I want them to keep the zeros on there and change the exchange rate. Who doesn’t want to be rich? I’m just saying to you what is more realistic to happen. They’re talking about delete the zeros all the time. In addition to that, now their talking about the central bank digital currency which I don’t like…It gives the country way more control over you.

When you have a bank that tells you, ‘Oh, we’re never going to deal with the Iraqi dinar.’ Or whatever they say to you, just keep it in the back of your mind what bank said that to you. First it was Facebook representatives meeting with the Iraqi prime minister and now it’s Elon Musk’s Space X. These mega corporation would not be meeting with Iraq unless there are mega bucks attached to the deals.

6-7-2025 Newshound/Intel Guru Fnu Lnu Article: “Iraq’s National Investment Commission (NIC) has announced more than 135 ready-to-offer investment opportunities across key economic sectors as part of its preparations for the Iraq Investment Forum 2025, scheduled for 14-15 June.” Here we see that Iraq is moving full steam ahead toward a vibrant private sector. This sector is in its infancy and is being realized WITHOUT a revalued Dinar. 1320 works just fine and is NOT an impediment to investment or development. It also shows us that Iraq is International with the 1320 Dinar even though the Dinar is NOT on FOREX.

6-7-2025 Newshound Guru Pimpy Community comment: “Our [Iraqi bank] notes are worthless.” I wouldn’t say worthless. Keep in mind we don’t know what the hell Iraq is going to do. Hold on to them. Keep your fingers crossed that they leave the zeros on there and change the exchange rate. The probability is not high but you never know. Just hang tight and let’s see what’ happens.

In other words Iraq’s currency at the moment isn’t quite convertible just yet. Is it expected to be convertible on the Forex. I think it is.

It may make stops along the way, such as to combat money laundering, implementing financial reforms, implementing the Development Road Project, etc, etc. …Many of these plans are already accomplished, some now in motion and some still in the planning stages…They do not have to implement all of these plans to get there…Later this wealth will sustain the value of the dinar once reinstated…all trains eventually make it to the end of track. This end is coming.

6-7-2025 Intel Guru Bruce [via WiserNow] You’ve got a holiday…in Iraq…it starts Friday and ends on Monday…we talked about Eid al Adwa…in the past… they are supposed to…Let’s use the term revalue their Iraqi dinar over the weekend… that did happen over that four day holiday in Kuwait… I think that this weekend, I’ve been told by our…sources, officially revalue the Iraqi dinar and bring it out. I’m going to say Monday or Tuesday probably Tuesday…
