5-8-2023 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat The three zero notes will coincide as legal tender even after the reinstatement and rate change. The process will suck up most of the larger notes out of circulation prior as they would be worth more than the dollar. I hear the CBI will give the citizens time to turn them in for a conversion rate. But even afterwards they will still remain legal tender. Remember that Iraq is not redenominating due to hyper-inflation, but rather due to a revaluation because they are so rich, not poor….Enough said…

5-7-2023 Newshound Guru Pimpy Article: “Parliamentary finance suggests when the dollar price will stabilize at the official price” As much as they talk about this in the news there’s obviously still some concern about the exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar. The difference between the official rate and the parallel rate is slightly off but it could be a lot closer. There’s still enough margin…that the “bad guys” can still make a pretty good profit if you’re dealing with large amounts of dinars verses dollars…what they’re predicting is once the budget is approved and implemented then you’ll see the official rate and the parallel rate equal out…

He said it is unreal – do not believe in it and that bank covers the official rate of 1320. He spoke a lot about the parallel rate. He spoke a lot about this but…we were left confused on exactly what he was trying to say to us.
5-7-2023 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat …The issues of the recent past contention about the budget was all centered around the amount of oil proceeds that would go to Kurdistan. This being now resolved, they now are faced with another issue of the debt ceiling. So, the cuts begin. This is what they are working on now… they are now telling us the budget law will be ready for voting during the next two weeks, and it will be included on the parliament’s agenda in the third week of this month of May.
