BUT THERE ARE PLENTY OF OPTIONS TO HAVE THE NEW GOV IN BEFORE RAMADAN IS OVER…

4-9-2022 Newshound Guru BGG So why, exactly, do things not look good for us? [Asked rhetorically?] 1) Never in the history of this investment has there been as much open conversation about their currency value and monetary policy as there has been for the last six months (or year). 2) Iraq has a caretaker government in place – there is no crisis. 3) Their recent elections show a distinct bias towards removing corruption – they want reforms, BIG TIME.

4-8-2021 Intel Guru MarkZ Article ”Advisor to Al Kazemi: Iraq is in an excellent financial position and it is time to quickly approve the budget” I am being told out of Iraq that in that budget is a substantial rate increase …I don’t know at this point if this means the…Nominal Effective Exchange Rate of about $1.60 or if it’s a full blown $4+ dollar rate. So we don’t know what to expect on the rate yet. This article points out the budget had been approved…they say it’s the highest revenue achieved since 1972….How much was the IQD worth in 1972? …about $3.38…so that is the point they are making in Iraq that it’s time to move forward with the budget. So that was solid news out of Iraq.

4-8-2022 Intel Guru Bruce Iraq still has not put out an international rate yet but I think they are being handcuffed – I don’t think they can feel confident putting that out until we are ready to go here – Yes they are sovereign – yes they are out of Chapter 7 with the United Nations – yes they have the ability to just go for it…I think they are waiting until this weekend – that’s what I’m hearing – This weekend could do that but I don’t know what day…

4-8-2022 Newshound Guru Godlover Article “A legal expert reveals a surprise: The caretaker government can send the budget to Parliament” Parliament had/has many laws with them & of course they have the option to vote on them, this is obvious. As far as the budget, I would question if they have the authority…..why not send it? Obvious answer again. All during Ramadan…..again….of course many things will continue, however I suspect that the new POR &/or PM will NOT be elected until AFTER Ramadan, which is something we wait on.

4-8-2022 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat …don’t forget all the recent events that have taken place like paying back war reparations to Iraq, then getting out of Chapter VII, then all the news of tying into the “international” banking system. Oh…what about the “White Paper” that is their path to financial freedom and reconstruction. So, let’s not all be so gloomy that this RV did not yet happen and we are in April already. Again as time passed our position gets yet better and better.

4-8-2022 Intel Guru MarkZ [via PDK] The news from Iraq, while not meeting our expectations on timing has been overwhelmingly good…and the amount of disclosure released over the last week has been stunning …Out of Iraq today I am hearing they hope to release the new budget over the weekend or the very first part of next week…even though the new government isn’t completely sat – they should be able to move forward with the economic reform…I am excited about that.

4-8-2022 Intel Guru Bob Locke [People are excited because you said you believe things are now “imminent”] It had been so quiet and now suddenly I have had multiple calls and a lot of stuff going on…. A lot I cannot talk about but definitely things are happening. This is going to be an interesting week IMO…Everything is extremely positive right now.
