They are manipulating the market and that’s a good thing! What they are trying to do is control the amount of US dollars that are in Iraq so it has a controlled competitive effect against the dinar…that’s exactly what they’re doing. They are moving forward.

Fact check, this “oil and gas fund” is not related the “HCL”, it is an agreement to put funds into a “just in case” account..we call it SAVINGS!!

There are not ATMs on every corner. 30% of the Iraqi economy is based off of the US dollar but the IQD is based on the USD anyway …they are after the US dollar so they can put it in their foreign currency reserve and back their notes up that much more…the 50 dinar note being taken off is a HUGE chunk. It’s a big deal. You should be very very happy.

At this time, only the 50 dinar notes are being pulled, and they were very clear about the timeframe and exchange policy.
