FIREFLY: Sammy says for you to consider that if they go digitally it will be related to a fixed rate…so it doesn’t have to be raised. But who would do this on a program rate? No one would. No one has. Going digital will definitely be good for our security and stability.

4-12-2025 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat what we do have is yet more good news, this time stemming around building the Iraqi economy…Iraq is moving ahead regardless of the many obstacles they keep throwing in front of them. This is the uphill battle they fight every day…the news no longer revolves all around the corruption but instead the Rafidain Bank and the use of it along with the digital dinar for dealing in foreign transactions. Iraq is now building their data center to handle the digital dinar and it is soon to come online.

4-11-2025 Newshound Guru Pimpy They seem to be hellbent on getting into the digital currency as quickly as possible. So why change anything with the Iraqi dinar right now when they know already their intent is to switch into the central bank digital currency? They’re not going to make any changes to the Iraqi dinar before then. That’s just my opinion but that just makes sense doesn’t it? Because the switch looks like it’s going to happen within months.

And you’re going to try to build those at 1310? I don’t think so. It’ll be far cheaper with a new real effective exchange rate…You add a new exchange rate to the equation, all those houses become so much cheaper it’s not even funny.

4-11-2025 Intel Guru Bruce [via WiserNow] …on the redemption center screens, the rates are coming up…we did hear… that we do have dinar and Dong… on the screen… Now, we did see a Dong rate just on Friday, so that’s going in the right direction, and expected to be a little higher than that when we go in for exchanges.
