While pegged, they have to do auctions to provide dollars, and to demonstrate they can manage the currency (spread) for the day they exit and join the world in Article VIII. …I am hopeful with the IMF stating first half, and the article surfacing including today’s from Allaq that said “coming months” it seems that they may get their act together and open the banking system later this year. Orderly or disorderly, who cares..bring it on, lets get the dinar on the world market and see what happens.

3-17-2016 RUMOR Mnt Goat Articles: “KURDISTAN: WE HAVE PROVIDED THE NAMES OF FOUR OF THE GOVERNMENT OF TECHNOCRATS POLITICAL” & “ABADI WILL RESORT TO A PROXY APPOINTMENT TO PROCEED WITH THE PROJECT REFORMIST AHEAD” …two articles…came out yesterday…showing us that parliament has not yet ratified all the minister candidates for the Abadi cabinet positions. In fact they are not even all nominated. But the good news is Abadi wants to move forward more quickly and so he may use proxy ministers. I can only guess this is because he does not want to delay and he knows the ratification process in parliament may take more time than he wants it to take. Also remember too there is much resistance by the coalition of state law on reforming his cabinet to technocrats (more experienced people who can do the job).

Answer: No. with this in mind…the domestic bonds that are now being sold inside Iraq does not have anything to do with the eventual move by Iraq into the world’s markets.
