It could be anywhere from a short period of time to maybe just a month or two out…Nobody knows…There’s so many things happening geopolitically that it’s kind of fluid. We don’t know if the war or the interactions between the United States and Iran is a factor in this. It could be…We have to play it safe and see what happens.

When you ask them anything on timing or what they have been told they go dead silent. Maybe they are getting que’d up and possibly getting some details. But nobody wants to lose their chance at the trough. This is just a guess.

They do things to try to give you information but yet not make it so exciting so everybody’s like, ‘Wow, it’s going to be tomorrow! We’re gonna do it that way.’ That’s not how they do it.

When they flip the revaluation switch and they go international and the US takes the last remaining OFAC sanctions off the country of Iraq, they already have all of their ducks in a row to go international. They’re extremely close to going international. The rate change is not that far away.
2-26-2026 Intel Guru Frank26 As I look at this [updated] list of banks and companies that have been banned from doing business in Iraq it gives me a warm feeling because [Iraqi] banks are infected with Iranian influence that has been stealing money for decades…Everybody that is against your monetary reform is being removed, being eradicated. It is the United States that is doing this…We are demanding all these places be shut down before you have the new exchange rate, before you get your lower notes…It’s exciting.

I’m going to say this one more time, most likely Iraq’s integration into the global financial system will have a real effective exchange rate [REER] prior to accession. Could it be at the same time? Yes, it could be. But does it have to be? No.
2-26-2026 Newshound Guru Jeff Question: “Banks or redemption centers?” The whole redemption center theory is more of a scam to me. I would strongly steer away from ‘redemption center’ type information. I would lean more towards banks.
2-26-2026 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat …Iranian influence over Iraq is fading as many are now believing (as we already do) that Maliki is a ‘sinking ship’…it is just a matter of time before al-Sudani is sworn in to form his cabinet as the next prime minister.
2-26-2026 Intel/Newshound Guru MarkZ [via PDK] Article: “After Tom Barack’s visit to Baghdad – did Al Sudani get the green light for a second term?” The US is definitely pushing. Even Suadi Arabia is pushing and sent a message against Maliki’s return and is pushing for a return of Al-Sudani. There is a lot happening…in Iraqi politics. We may see the end of Maliki’s political career this week…at least for now.
