2-22-2016 Intel/Newshound Guru tman23 …the inside chatter on a “caretaker government”…we are now seeing articles on such an event. Saturday in Parliament Abadi asked for more power. Although a caretaker government may not be formally announced, political blocs would like to use the legal definition to road block and delay reforms, thus more power to Abadi would block this legal avenue to the courts for the political enemies to the reforms. Other then the GOI watch for the signal from Kurdistan and the KRG. We need to see the KRG Parliament in session. This has been promised to the international community to be resolved by March 1st.

2-22-2016 Intel/Newshound Guru tman23 None of this means currency revaluation but rather government stabilization AND the liberation of Mosul will place a larger burden on the GOI to provide for those citizens. The question is if revaluation that fits our speculation is real and forthcoming…Does Alak need to be replaced first? I believe that if the IQD was planned to change value to great extremes that there are only a handful of people that would know this fact, and Alak would have to be one of those people. That being the thought…Do you cut this cat loose before making the change, or do you keep him under the oath of the office and under tight wraps until after the change…?

2-21-2016 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG my synopsis: Financial reform, GOI reform, and economic (the economy) reform all on deck for IMMEDIATE implementation. Financial (being the only 2 private banks)…Abadi going to strip the GOI and start over… AND He’s getting ALOT of support. It would appear there have been some major crooks holding things up and they are being removed UNANIMOUSLY…like – RIGHT NOW…lots of movement on the GOI front right now…BIG MOVES…everyone appears to be on board…and this – folks – is good news. [wouldn’t this add months to the RV timeline being that they have to do all this…?] No – not IMHO… they will have this (and a new Gov of the CBI) done very quickly… [how long will lt take IYO to strip the GOI and start over?] Not long…2 weeks or less…

Good for us. their own economists have outlined only 2 possible avenues of “bridge” – 1) tariffs 2) raise the value of the Dinar. looks like Abadi realized he had to get rid of a bunch of turds before he could raise the value… (the only real solution to his problem)… this will happen quickly.

2-21-2016 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 What could be so paramount on the mind of the CBI officials to be meeting this weekend…is it a timing issue… [Guru] DELTA told us the CBI was bringing their Director level executives in…That doesn’t happen on a lark…what has stirred them to some kind of a meeting today that is off the radar screen…it has to be something big…really big…IOO.

2-21-2016 Newshound Guru BGG Article: “Parliamentary bloc calls for invoking Article 30 of the Constitution calls for the reform of the economy” what it means is – Abadi is re-working the GOI and the Parliament is calling for the reformation and a “market economy”. we have been hearing this for some time now – here it is… in print. if Parliament is “calling for it”… it is coming.

2-21-2016 Newshound Guru wmawhite …all of what progress we are seeing is building the foundations of the institutions that will enable Iraq to be successful long after they join the markets. So think about it…is any of this “at the last minute? Answer: No…this is a never ending process for Iraq…and hopefully, as the IMF stated, huge changes will take place with the CBI and the status of the IQD when the world financial institutions begin exchanging the IQD.
