12-4-2014 Newshound Guru Millionday THEY SIGNED AND VOTED IN A TEMPORARY HCL AND HAVE AGREED ON THE OTHER ISSUES… THEY PASSED A TEMPORARY SO THEY COULD BEGIN IN PRODUCTION AND AGREE FORMALLY ON FINANCES. THE ERBIL AGREEMENT OF 17% AND SOME OTHER AGREEMENTS WILL TAKE PLACE WITH THE 2015 BUDGET. THE IMPACT OF THE ERBIL AGREEMENT CONFIRMS A POSITIVE EFFECT ON THE REALITY OF THE ECONOMY AND ALSO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS. SOME OF THE AGREEMENT FINANCIALLY WILL BE ACTIVE JAN 1ST 2015 AND SOME NOW. THE ERBIL AGREEMENT HAS MOVED ALL THEY WANT TO A BETTER PLACE FOR IMPLEMENTATION. THE UN , US , AND BRITAIN PRESSURED TO REACH AN AGREEMENT BUT HAD NO INPUT ON WHAT IT WAS.

Since politicians rarely take a pay cut, I’m thinking this is a very positive sign. Is this just an attempt to balance the budget?] I am hoping this is a move designed to accommodate a significant change in the value of the rate, because you are 100% right – politicians don’t just agree to something like this for no reason!

12-4-2014 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 WE ALL KNOW THEY MUST HAVE A RATE BEFORE THEY CAN IMPLEMENT THE HCL. THEY HAVE PUSHED VERY HARD FOR SEVERAL YEARS TO COMPLETE IT. I CAN’T IMAGINE THEY HAVE SPENT ALL THIS TIME REACHING AN AGREEMENT AND ARE NOT PREPARED WITH EVERYTHING ELSE SO THEY CAM IMPLEMENT IT WITHIN A COUPLE DAYS OF THE AGREEMENT. TIME WILL TELL BUT IT WILL NOT BE LONG IN MY BOOK.

We are seeing Iraq set the stage and create the conditions for their emergence right before our eyes.

I was chatting with my wife about the dinar…I was taking the approach of how much distance the dinar will travel regarding the rate from 1166 to a fair market-driven rate and over a 4-5 year window and when you look at it that way, it’s pretty exciting to consider how quickly the dinar can appreciate in the coming months. I mean, the CBI stated this process will be “gradual” but we don’t know if that will be via a managed float (which makes sense to me) or via a market-driven free float.
12-4-2014 Newshound Guru Shredd I feel in the coming months we will see what that first step in rate change will be and that first step will tell us the method then, the second rate adjustment will indicate the pace…we will learn so much once the process of improving the rate STARTS and …once that happens, demand will explode. we’ll all be able to decide when and how we will want to exchange our dinar, pretty exciting. the news on the banking laws alone is amazing…these laws being passed will remove road blocks to investment. The largely stale status of investment hasn’t been all about investor fears it has been due to waiting for assurances of protection, compliance and transparency, the interest has been there…so we can’t under-emphasize the weight these laws carry. yes, exciting times.

THE NEEDED AND REQUIRED G.C.R. DOCUMENTS HAVE ALL BEEN DELIVERED TO THE PROPER LOCATIONS AND THE AGREEMENTS HAVE BEEN SIGNED AS WELL. GLOBAL BANKING AND FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS ARE CURRENTLY BEING CALIBRATED.
12-4-2014 RUMOR Guru TerryK FOR THE USA TO SEND CONGRADS TO IRAQ ON THE HCL BEING PUT INTO PLACE, THEY WOULD NOT DO THAT UNLESS ITS IN PLACE. SECOND IS THAT PARLIAMENT IS STILL IN SESSION AS ABADI WILL NOT LET THEM TAKE OFF.
Fact check, the HCL has not been officially passed, a temporary agreement has been negotiated. News out today says the “agreement” is for one year, this is not the final binding agreement.
12-3-2014 TOTAL RUMOR Guru So, Sunday and Monday they were having pre-celebrations, with everyone excited about the announcements to be made. Abadi made the first part of the announcement, but CBI didn’t do their part, and everyone was upset. So they have rescheduled the celebrations for…[tomorrow afternoon through the weekend.] It could be today, tomorrow or Sunday night. There is a go, go, go now. Iraq will decide when we go exactly – this time they say they have totally released it to Iraq, for their timing. We should feel good, yes, but we’ve been here before. Everyone is in position and celebrations are planned for tomorrow, so let’s see what happens!
12-3-2014 RUMOR Guru Iraq has done some great things in the last week. Yesterday they announced the formal agreement to the HCL in Kurdistan and in Baghdad. That certifies the 17% is going to Kurdistan plus a few other things they changed around. That was a big thing for Iraq to do. They are adjusting their budget based on the fall in oil prices…On the television side, they have announced the economic reform is in place, but also there are riots because it has not been completed yet. They are saying it’s nearly over with. Abadi gave a great speech about Iraq joining international markets on Monday night. They are still prepared for parties and celebrations with areas blocked off and PA systems ready for the final deal. One reason the riots occurred is they thought the RV would happen immediately after Abadi’s speech, and they were disappointed. They continue to prepare for celebrations because yesterday in the US they realized they need to move forward.
12-3-2014 TOTAL RUMOR Guru The UN are aggravated as hell that the US continues to throw up BS flags all the time. They are applying pressure on the US to allow this to go through. The BIS+IMF are still trying to coordinate timing and keep the egos in check. The UST and administration guys are being told GO from the highest levels, as of yesterday. Now everyone is getting prepped up and going into lockdowns. They are loading the systems back up as well. The banks are ready to take this forward now. The security and call centers are prepped and ready to rock. [Can you tell us the latest rate on the VNN?] They are currently expecting $1.02. [Do you believe it will happen in this last window?] Many believe it is the final window, including Iraq, but all of us are cautious because someone might mess with it again, with all this up and down. We’ve been to the 1” line before, and that is where we are right now.

I have a lot to say about it, but the details are still coming in so I’m going to hold my peace for now…if they want to go ahead and RV before I have a chance to share all my thoughts on it, that’s fine by me!

12-3-2014 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 PM Abadi continues to prove that he is the real deal…that he has what it takes to turn Iraq around…his platform of integrity and compassion towards all Iraqis is proving itself day after day…his proclaimed war on corruption is boundless and knows no adversary too great…he has had the mighty wolf, the rogue wolf huff and puff at him and failed to be cowed…this man is bringing Iraq out of the dark ages…and is doing so at lightening speed. Every day there is cause for celebration…he has won the confidence of the Kurds, he is in the process of winning the confidence of the people of Mosul and those war torn areas of Ramadi and Fallujah…the tribesmen are listening to him, they watch his actions and they sense real progress for a change.
