12-26-2014 Newshound Guru Millionday …NOW THIS IS SOMETHING WE HAVE NOT SEEN….Said in a parliamentary finance committee member, said that “the rest of the oil-producing provinces dues amounts of petro-dollar exchange rate will be after the approval of the federal budget for 2015″. NOTE — THE AMOUNT OF THE EXCHANGE RATE WILL BE AFTER THE BUDGET SO OBVIOUSLY IT HAS TO DO WITH BUDGET FOR THIS YEAR.
12-26-2014 Newshound Guru wmawhite [have you seen anywhere what Abadi’s huge announcement was about today?] the big announcement for the 25th was that for the first time the Prime Minister and his government (the GOI/CoM) sent to Parliament next year’s budget prior to the next year. What is important here is that PM Abadi has done exactly what he said he would do. Now, Parliament has met and had the first reading on the 2015 Budget while it is still 2014. In the meantime,…as their constitution calls for…Parliament’s Finance Committee will do their part in reviewing what the CoM has sent to them. In fact, Parliament is still working.
12-26-2014 Newshound Guru wmawhite Keep in mind,…whenever Parliament approves the 2015 Budget, 1/2 of it will be worthless (the Investment Part) unless the CBI changes the status of the IQD. …the budget does not automatically bring with it a change in the value of the IQD…they can approve all the budgets they want…however, unless the CBI FIRST gives Iraq a currency that the world will deal with, all of those budget are WORTHLESS!
12-26-2014 Newshound Guru Kaerponi Article: “Parliament ends the first reading of the budget and referred to the Finance Committee” Quote: “The House of Representatives ended the extraordinary Directors held under the chairmanship of Salim al-Jubouri, head of the House of Representatives and in the presence of [229] deputies on Thursday the first reading of the draft general and the federal budget for 2015 Act.” I for one stated on several occasions that parliament would not be able to form a quorum for any special session. That in itself is amazing that they had 229 (looks like they had to round a few up lol)…the first reading is good, they now have a few weeks to review and correct anything that may be of concern so when January 7th rolls around it should go smoothly. I also read today Abadi is work[ing] to present these economic laws soon so January looks like a good month. Currency reform is coming in 2015.
12-26-2014 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Article: “Deputy for the National emphasizes the necessity of activating the industrial and private sector to save the budget deficit” Quote: “the financial budgets for previous years has suffered from a financial deficit thus eliminating the deficit comes through the activation of industrial, agricultural and private sector.” This is what we have been waiting for. The activation of these areas will bring in investment, investment creates growth and and as a result will begin to create inflation. The counter for that is to raise the value of the dinar.

WOW. I TRULY BELIEVE, WHAT WE ARE SEEING IS FORMALITIES ALREADY AGREED UPON.

THEY ARE EXCITED ABOUT THE BUDGET PASSING EVEN MORE THAN WE ARE. SOMETHING IS DEVELOPING HERE, AND WE HAVE YET TO SEE/HEAR WHAT IT IS. I CAN SAY WITH CONFIDENCE, THIS GOVERNMENT MEANS BUSINESS. 12-25-2014 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 We have seen confirmation this morning of Parliament’s meeting today and first reading of the 2015 budget…they apparently will now recess again until 1/7/2015 where they are expected to reconvene for the second reading and discussion of the budget…that is unless PM Abadi might convince them of the urgency here and get yet another emergency Parliament meeting called before the end of the year…IMO…not likely at this point.
12-25-2014 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 [It seems very strange that all of the news…has made it clear that the budget will be done before the end of the year and now…they take a 2 week break?] THEY WERE TOLD BY JAFARI AND ABADI THEY WOULDN’T BE ANY BREAKS OR HOLIDAYS OFF TILL THE JOBS BEFORE THEM WAS COMPLETED…MEANING THE BUDGET AND HCL ETC AND THEY HAVE SAID THEY WHERE BREAKING SEVERAL TIMES BUT THEY HAVE NOT TAKEN ANY TIME OFF SINCE THEY WHERE TOLD THAT. I SUSPECT THEY ARE EITHER STILL WORKING OR ALL IS FINISHED AND WE ARE WAITING FOR IMPLEMENTATION OR ANNOUNCEMENT. …I THINK ABADI WILL SHOUT IT IMMEDIATELY WHEN ALL IS DONE AND I ALSO EXPECT DR SHABIBI TO HAVE THE HONOR TO RELEASE THE RATE.
12-25-2014 Newshound Guru sczin11 [so they have kicked the can on the budget down the road till the 7th of Jan. am I reading your news articles right on that…?] YES U R READING CORRECTLY…I JUST DONT BUY IT THOUGH… JMHO…WHY BRING 228 MPS INTO EMERGENCY MEETING FOR FIRST READING DURING THEIR HOLIDAY RECESS, ONLY TO ADJOURN UNTIL 2 WEEKS LATER…AFTER THE RECESS IS OVER?
