WOW! WOW! Iraq is paying for imports in dinars. We have been waiting for this news for so long now, almost 17 years… We also previously heard that Iraq is trading with Iran in dinars too… this is all VERY GOOD news as this is how international trade should work…

They wanted to know which bonds and currencies I had. They needed to know what I had – in order to set up my appointment and see if they could handle my (exchange) apt. there or if they needed to send them to a larger bank. (Like Wells Fargo) or a military base. So this was a “sit-down” with a high level person at a small bank.

Which means they will have to convert it into American dollars. That’s what they want to do because they will take your dinars and send it back to the CBI. If you go to Chase, Huntington Bank, whatever American bank, those dinars go to our US reserves.

12-11-2023 Newshound Guru Pimpy There are some people who are unclear … when I say Iraq is relying too much on oil. This is an issue. That’s why there’s no stability in the economy of Iraq. When 95% of your economy is based on oil sales then there’s always a potential for the economy to take a dive if for some reason oil prices drop on Iraq. We saw that happen in 2019/2020 when the oil prices dropped…It also affected their liquidity…Iraq has set the price per barrel of oil in the budget at $70 per barrel and right now Brent crude oil is selling at $71. This is not good. If it slips any more then Iraq is going to definitely be running in a deficit which you don’t want.

12-11-2023 Newshound Guru Pimpy They’ve been talking now for several months about needing to strengthen the Iraqi dinar, doing what they need to do to close the gap between the official rate and the parallel market. One of the steps they need to do…is to stop using dual currencies…do away with the US dollar and just use strictly Iraqi dinar. They’ve been taking steps to make that happen. They had already started it in…government buildings…but now as of January 1, 2024 that’s going to be the start of the nation…strictly using Iraqi dinar…to me this is a great step moving forward for Iraq. But it’s one of many steps they have to take…

12-11-2023 Newshound Guru Pimpy Rumor the exchange rate had changed. It has not changed…It doesn’t make sense for them to change the exchange rate in one location and not another. What’s to keep people from taking their Iraqi dinar to the new 1 to 1 location, exchanging their currency, getting tons of money, running back over to another location that has not yet changed the exchange rate, buy more cheap Iraqi dinar, then run back over to the new exchange rate…You’re making millions of dollars. This is why you’ll never hear, ‘Oh, they have an in-country rate and out-country rate.’ No, the rate is the same. That doesn’t make any sense whatsoever…no where out there is there a location where it’s 1 to 1 and not at other locations.
