The part that sparked my interest the most was…quote: “After the revaluation, it was linked to a basket of global currencies.” He was referring to the Chinese government Yuan and its revaluation of its currency in 2005, which was then linked to the US dollar prior to the revaluation. However, after the revaluation, it was linked to a basket of global currencies…I believe he is telling the citizens of Iraq that this also is what will occur to the IQD when it too revalues soon.

I’m not saying they both can’t happen at the same time, I just think at first you’re going to get the new currency, people are going to have to make adjustments to the cost of good, the cost of services, the pricing on your goods being sold, price on services being sold, all that has to adjust to the new currency. That goes for people inside of Iraq…
11-20-2024 Guru Nader From The Mid East No body have to do with the exchange rate besides the government of Iraq or the Central Bank of Iraq. The Treasury have nothing to do with it. United States have nothing to do with it. Nobody has to do with it…HCL and all that not have nothing to do with it.

11-20-2024 Newshound Guru Militia Man If in fact we have a revaluation of the Iraqi dinar a lot of things are going to change and a lot of people need to have at least a plausible deniability…The central bank…they openly exposed the education system, they talked about the zeros forever, they’re talking about the Islamic banking law, they’re talking about the Securities Law and they’re talking about that with some of the largest money institutions in the world. Britain is on big one. Same with the United States…It’s exciting. I think it’s powerful that we’re watching this unfold…

Sounds like it has to be tied in with legal things that need to be done and finished up before the official exchange rate rolls out. Just what we think here on the streets. 11-20-2024 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat …the IMF fully intends to repeg the IQD to a basket of currencies once they revalue it and turn it back on FOREX (…this is called a reinstatement…). It will initially be a FREE FLOAT driven by market fluctuations however it will be monitored and my CBI contact has told me they will cap it at a level to control the initial massive swings, if needed. Then over a period, the rate is expected to settle down to its nominal rate. I am told this could be about $3.85ish. The then CBI director in 2011 Dr. Shabibi told his audience in a news media conference on the Iraqi economy that the dinar could sustain a fluctuation as high as $16 USD…I am told that the IMF will use the cap at about $9 – $11 to prevent wild swings out of control that could potentially hurt the basket.
11-20-2024 Intel Guru MarkZ [via PDK] This is huge: “Setting a date for the resumption of oil exports from Kurdistan from the Turkish port of Ceyhan” They have set a date and will resume exports this year…to me this means the HCL is done or very close to done.
