10-18-2013 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Article: “Maliki: I will discuss the strategic framework agreement in Washington” Article quote: “The main theme in the scheduled visit to Washington is to discuss bilateral relations, especially the strategic framework agreement between the two countries.” They do not specifically mention in these articles, but they do in the others…The TIFA agreement is part of the SFA, which requires “freedom of movement of capital” or in other words a tradable currency before it can go into effect…So how is Maliki going to discuss this with Obama when he has not accomplished this?
10-18-2013 Newshound Guru Kaperoni If the the SFA topic of the meeting, which it clearly says it is, I don’t see what good the meeting would be unless Maliki had accomplished what is required prior to the meeting. Otherwise, Obama, would simply say…thanks for coming but until the laws are in place, and the currency is convertible, I cannot active [activate?] the TIFA. I don’t know about the rest of the SFA.
10-17-2013 Newshound Guru Adam Montana [now that the economic reform laws have been approved by the Iraqi Parliament, do you still believe we are waiting for passage of the HCL before the RV can occur?] Quick clarification – the economic reform laws have been approved, not passed. That happens later this month.
10-17-2013 PUMPER Guru TNT Tony Ok, I know you waited all day and nothing. We are still in the window though. Banks and agencies spent all day running through their procedures and updating instructions. The activation is still scheduled during the next 48hrs or less (I would go with less). Iraq has again been given the privilege to announce the new rate. This should take place tomorrow and shortly after, all of your dreams come true. We should see the RV activated between now and sunrise (I thought that was last nights news, but it seems like that have made it tonight’s news too).
10-17-2013 PUMPER Guru TNT Tony I was asked to pass along an important piece of information, please pay attention to it and pass it to everyone you know that is involved in this exchange. IMF and UST are extremely concerned about Security! The call centers will be instructed to tell folks to WAIT for their appointments. People can not act up and rush the banks! The CE of up to 25K IQD will be allowed as a privilege and that will end if folks freak out at the banks. No crowds, no groups going in, no parking lot lurkers!

UST has authorized any additional security requested and force is authorized! Please take this seriously, they are.
Guru Critic, You have got to be kidding Tony! How in the hell do you come up with this crap? The IMF has NOT asked you, or anyone, to get this out to the “Dinar community”. It is every banks job to provide security for their customers, NOT THE IMF!!! So you are saying that all we can exchange is #1 25K note? What a joke! Some of us have millions of Dinar! 10-17-2013 PUMPER Guru Mnt Goat Just wanted to tell everyone that I am very optimistic about these next couple days. I received a call this morning from one of my IMF sources explaining to me the next steps in this process. As you know I am not very familiar with what is happening in the banks in USA but I am hearing from this source now that they are going to release very soon to your public toll free numbers for call in centers to schedule exchange meetings. Exchanges should begin once appointments are made.
10-17-2013 PUMPER Guru Mnt Goat I have been listening to many recent conference calls from many “intel providers” from recent days. Seems they still believe that this is in Iraq’s hands and are hopeful for a 90 cent rate. Let them believe what they want. Time will tell. I also hear that they try to say the IQN symbol now showing on banks screens can not exist? I have seen it myself so what is this? It also has a double digit rate for IQN. So unless they push down a new set or rates at the last minutes I can only think this would be our rate true. Articles from Iraq have been outdated and re-run many times to substantiate what they only want to tell us. I have found I really have to re-look at articles and pay close attention to them. Okay now I have said enough.
10-17-2013 Intel Guru TD I’m seeing reports by some promising a 100% RV Friday or this weekend. I can tell you that the reports are premature since Iraq & the Muslim world are celebrating Eid Al-Adha …this week (started Tuesday). In chat with my contact I confirmed this week as celebration and most all businesses having limited hours of operation. As I’ve reported before that during times of festivals, matters such as financial, are NOT of significant importance on their to do lists.
10-17-2013 Intel Guru TD Briefly though I’ve learned of a sigh of relief concerning the debacle played out over the USA shutdown & debt ceiling. They are wanting to do execution of currency reform before the next obstacle arises. Next week, and more probable, is the end of this month for introduction of Iraq into International markets. There is very little on the checklist to finish off is what I was told.
10-17-2013 PUMPER Guru TNT Tony I just wanted to let everyone know that the RV is still here, all bank personnel (call center and exchange center) are currently on lockdown. They arrived at 7am just like they were supposed to and were told that the RV should go live at 9:30am. Well as you know, we are still waiting. All sources are being told that final system checks are ongoing. They are still being told that this should happen sometime today.

The people in Iraq are being told that by Saturday morning the lower denoms will be available country wide, not just in certain areas. (by Sat, not on Sat). All 3 ltr [letter] agencies, banks and countries are expecting this sometime today, there is nothing holding it up that we are aware of, it is just timing.
Guru Critic, I am at a loss for words concerning this joker, how anyone can believe one word this guy says is beyond me. To the best of my knowledge, the lower denoms have not been printed yet, so how can they distribute them?
