They’re finalizing and placing their government. That’s been a big aspect of this whole revaluation process. There’s been certain points that Iraq has had to meet in order to put their currency back on the free market, revalue it, make it be worth something again…a big point that they need to meet is to have a seated and fully established government…looks like tomorrow will be the time…

1-9-2022 Intel Guru Fleming Exactly how many months or weeks, will the Iraq Central Bank allow for the obsolete 3+-zero-inflated-dinars to be exchanged and/or used in trade? Answer: Not very long. They have tied the intake of these obsolete currency notes to the value of oil which today is over $78 US. Once the value exceeds a price somewhere between $100 to $120 US, the Central Bank of Iraq, will no longer support an international exchange. Point being, they want it in and done fast. No stragglers allowed. This includes those of us holding Dinar notes here in the US. We have only a short time to exchange these notes for a very nice Exchange rate.

1-9-2022 News Update Former Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq Sinan Al Shabibi has died. He was governor from 2003 to 2012. Many feel he had been instrumental in the process to revalue the dinar. In 2012 it was believed he was moments away from revaluing the dinar when PM at the time Maliki derailed those plans and threatened his arrest if he stepped foot in Iraq again. Ole time dinar investors will always remember his public meeting in Washington where he candidly answered audience questions about the possible revaluation of the dinar. He will be remembered.

We know they made an announcement that they do not need the government seated to change the value of their currency. They have stated in their white papers they are going to adjust that value in this calendar year. We really are in a good place but it’s just frustrating that none of us know the exact timing.

Although Iraq’s banks will remain closed till Tuesday while this new currency adjustment begins in earnest. These new small category note pictures will be the new graffiti in Iraq. It’ll be on every wall that you can think of…the sighting of the new small category notes is getting closer to the eyes of the Iraqi citizens because IMO the new small category notes are now in the hands of all the private bank tellers…

That’d be too much of a shock to the system…I might be wrong…they might roll out and give us an RI or RV that’s possible but I just don’t see it happening. Not yet. I do think the rate change is going to get to a point that we all love, easy, in a short period of time…I don’t do rates. I don’t do dates but I think it’s going to happen much more faster than people think.

The first and most important being, that Iraq is now an approved member of both the Arab Investment Bank, (AIB) and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, (AIIB) and ready, willing and able to flourish…Now finally, with the full and complete exit of US troops, along with the US Treasury/the IMF/BIS/UN influence, oversight and control, Iraq is free to revalue its currency however this sovereign nation decrees.

1-8-2022 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat A government advisor announced that the budget of two thousand and twenty-two will be submitted to the new House of Representatives after its meeting. I do not think they are going to play around with this budget this time and takes months to pass. Since this is the first bill on their agenda we can see this is a priority.

1-8-2022 Intel Guru MarkZ [via PDK] [Will the dinar we hold become worthless?] Yes at some point it will…but after we have exchanged it at the increased rate or exchanged it for lower denomination- if you live in Iraq. At some point after the RV it will become worthless. After the RV it will become logistically impossible to have large note bills in circulation. The Iraqi dinar was worth $3.22 US before they invaded Kuwait. After that the Central banks around the world devalued this Iraqi dinar. What will happen now is they will reinstate the value…this is what we are waiting to happen in iraq. After the Vietnam war the same thing happened….It was valued at about $2.22 US before the war and it has not yet been reinstated either…this is a rare thing.
