1-2-2015 Intel Guru Freeway Bill Well, we thought we would have reached our destination by now but we have not, or have we? I know we have not been paid for our exchange yet, but that does not mean that we are not there yet. The US is not in charge of this at this time, nor have they been for a long time. The Iraqi news will not tell you when it is going to happen. You just have to trust that the real power is in the hands of people that were designated to carry this through a long time ago and they are doing their job… I can tell you that NOBODY has been paid regardless of what you have heard or read…try to relax knowing that the end of this is near.
1-2-2015 Newshound Guru Adam Montana [ I know we have HCA but how long do you think it would take for HCL and/or is it in the Budget for 2015?] I believe the Parliament session January 7th will have a BIG impact on an actual HCL, if it’s not done before that actual session.

1-2-2014 Newshound Guru Chattels Interestingly, it is possible that Iraq could have made a rate change on Thursday and we could not know of it until Monday, the 5th of January, a period of four days. Thursday was the 1st, New Year’s day and a holiday for the CBI. Friday, Holy Day and Saturday are supposed to be holidays, and some Sunday auction results are not posted until Monday. Am I saying that there has been a substantial increase in the value of the dinar? No, only that there could be and we might not know it for four days.

1-2-2015 Newshound Guru Kaperoni There is no RV…the budget has no bearing or anything to do with any currency change. I stated years ago the budgets are based on Dollars and they remain so. So if you want to look for the budget for some mythical RV, your fooling yourself. The budget will be passed…and based on what they have accomplished, it is reasonable to expect it to be ratified by end of month (January) as stated. That being said..everyone needs to focus on what is really more important and that is the many laws that sit idle that need to be passed. Including banking laws!
1-2-2015 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Once we see these laws in place, so investment begins to come into Iraq…we will be getting closer to the the CBI making moves with the dinar. This is a process, not a single event and it will take time to accomplish all that is needed prior to dinar. I said several weeks ago, that March 1st was a realistic target date…but that date now fails because the CBI is not currently in compliance with the IMF. So the window is now mid 2015 or later.
1-1-2015 Intel/Newshound Guru American Contractor There is a lot of talk in the dinar world that the Iraqi government must have an international currency before they can transition to becoming an International Monetary Fund (IMF) Article VIII member. If this is true then why doesn’t the country of Kenya, Honduras, Algeria, Bahrain, and many more countries who are Article VIII members have an international currency. The answer is that you do not need to have an international currency to be an IMF Article VIII member.
1-1-2015 Newshound Guru Adam Montana [ I’ve noticed that many…seem to assume that the new rate and the 2015 budget will be announced simultaneously, and that therefore the latest news of a Jan. 7th budget vote pushes the rate announcement back to that date as well. Since Gov. Shabbibi has always said that it’s best that a new rate starts at the beginning of the year, how likely do you think it would be that the rate is announced announced Jan. 1st, and then the budget, with the new rate, is voted on Jan. 7th?] Unfortunately the 2 aren’t “tied at the hip” and one can easily happen completely separate from the other… BUT that’s not to say that what you’ve proposed is any less likely. Shabibi is a smart man and the things he said and did years ago will still have an impact on how Iraq moves forward… let’s see how things go here in the next few days.
