1-14-2014 Newshound Guru Millionday [do you think the parliament will get the budget tomorrow (Tuesday)? ] they are to have it before them tomorrow and much more. the budget will not stop the economic reform. [Do you still think jan is possible?] the pat on the back from the world bank stating that technically — Iraq banking is in a very good position and they are happy. i think anytime is possible but trust me i dont say that often.

1-13-2014 Newshound Guru Millionday i have not seen that the HCL is done but have seen that it is very close and they are working on its finish. i have to disagree that the HCL is complete and law. we do know that the budget amount is agreed upon as of recent reports…they both seemed happy with the finished product — the budget is expected to go to parliament this week on tuesday.

1-13-2014 Newshound Guru Millionday [I’d be interested to hear if you’ve heard the same as what TD is reporting about the CBI sight simply being under Maintenance.] i do not agree under construction…the reason being is that we have seen that and it is down when they do that and also they are adding to it at this time with news on both sides and just the rates down? makes no sense but we have to wait and see what happens.

1-13-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar Article: “Kurdistan: We have reached understandings with al-Maliki on the budget and oil” The budget has within it the keys to the HCL agreement. Everything is coming down to the agreement on revenue sharing IMO. If percentages are agreed to as I thought they have been for a couple of weeks now, the rest will fall into place quickly. …this will solve more than just the HCL and the budget. The currency move itself may come into play.

1-13-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar If the budget is written at 1.16 dinars per dollar, passing the budget will force the CBI to delete the zeros. If it is true that what we were told by the architects of the 2014 budget…that they wrote it based on 1.16 dinars per dollar, and they pass that budget, they must immediately have a currency based on 1.16 dinars per dollar to match that budget. Otherwise they are totally out of equilibrium. I hope they get the 2014 budget inacted quickly and the thoughts about it being done in March are wrong.

1-13-2014 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 THEY HAVE REPORTED MANY TIMES THAT THE BUDGET WAS COMPLETE AND IN PARLIAMENTS HANDS AND UNTIL YESTERDAY AS FAR AS WE KNOW THEY STILL DON’T HAVE IT. IT IS ALSO BEEN REPORTED THAT THEY WILL COMPLETE THE BUDGET ON TOMORROWS AGENDA. WE WAIT AND WATCH FOR ACTIONS.

1-13-2014 Newshound Guru Millionday i would like to address the issue with no rates in CBI. I have been researching for years and so have many that are here, never have i seen no rates listed. yes i have seen blank spaces etc., but we also have some other changes going along with this. years ago we saw this site >>>https://www.cb-iraq.org/ . so as you see there is nothing there but we know that it was said years ago that is going to be the new site and of course they have the plans for the buildings, etc. but what we see is not something that anyone has seen before — they added the sdr and made an announcement about the addition of Iraq to the sdr — (basket of currency) and they have also made many announcements to do with BIS deposits and Turki has signed the agreements there also.

1-13-2014 Newshound Guru Millionday we have not seen any transfer verification but when you go to the Union of Arab Banks Website… the Iraq Central Bank Site has been changed to the new web address. they have joined the BIS as the 60th country and i have a little tidbit of news on that — they are not listing Kuwait — hmmm — the total loss of the rates from CBI and the statement of the banks to account holders that there is no cash with huge pictures on front page news showing stacks of dinar…is very confusing for them and us. to speculate — i would say they are making some change. does this mean we are there? we dont have that in ink and I like to stay away from the roller coaster but how can one look at that and not have hope? …i cant wait to see what happens. they are being very secretive about it and have given no explanation in —INK.

1-13-2014 Intel Guru TD Well like most of you I’ve been holding my breath last couple days about the CBI site and I just received confirmation that it is only website maintenance going on so we can all exhale!! No changes in rates YET!! However I’m told that the next 75 days looks very promising for the IQD to go international. All I can tell you right now is their plans (which are subject to change, really tweak at best) is “MODEST and GRADUAL, from it’s current 1166. NO Shock & Awe! We are hopeful for the GOI to get a grip on the current turmoil and proceed with much country business at hand. They do have a very aggressive agenda for growth & prosperity for 2014 & beyond. These are VERY proud people and want to be recognized in the world arena as a favorable area for investment.
