announced that the Ministry of electricity exceeded its production of electric power to the extent permitted for the first time in the history of Iraq in this aspect.
The Minister of Electricity Office in a brief statement received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of it that “the Ministry of Electricity production exceeded 15 thousand megawatts which is for the first time in the history of Iraq.”
Iraq has suffered since the crisis in decades , the scarcity of production and processing of electric power and worsened after the crisis in 2003 and increase the hours of the pieces of the stream, despite the disbursement of billions of dollars due to corruption and the failure of projects and expenditures high in power generation.
The Ministry of Electricity for nearly a year on the privatization and investment processing power to citizens, in an effort “to reduce consumption and prevent overtaking” the carrier lines.
