The US Energy Information Administration announced, on Sunday, an increase in Iraqi oil exports to the United States during the past week.
The administration said in a statistic reviewed by Al-Maalouma Agency, that “the average US imports of crude oil during the past week from 10 major countries amounted to 5.530 million barrels per day, an increase of 317 thousand barrels per day compared to the previous week, which averaged 4.847 million barrels per day.”
It added that “Iraq’s oil exports to the United States amounted to an average of 135 thousand barrels, an increase of 127 thousand barrels per day compared to the previous week, which averaged 8 thousand barrels per day.”
The administration also indicated that “the largest oil revenues to the United States during the past week came from Canada, at an average of 3.600 million barrels per day, followed by Al-Masbak, at an average of 494 thousand barrels per day, from Libya, at an average of 225 thousand barrels, and from Nigeria, at an average of 219 thousand barrels per day.”
According to the table, “the amount of US crude oil imports from Brazil reached an average of 210,000 barrels per day, from Saudi Arabia an average of 195,000 barrels per day, from Venezuela an average of 194,000 barrels per day, from Ecuador an average of 187,000 barrels per day, and from Colombia an average of 71,000 barrels per day.”
