{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The General Company for Mining Industries has contracted one of the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals to export its product {Primer} to the United Arab Emirates within its sound and successful direction towards exporting its products.
“An annual renewable contract has been signed for the export of the primer product to the UAE in the amount of 3,000 tons per month, which can be increased,” a statement by the ministry said.
“Primer is used to isolate all buried underground steel pipes such as oil pipes, air ducts, etc. In addition to being used as the first layer before starting to tiling on the soil, any bonding layer between the tiling layers as well as other uses.
Humaid pointed out that the company “headed towards exporting the product {Primer} because there is no local demand to suit the high production capacity of this material,” pointing out that “the company continues to export the product« Prime Coat »to the UAE.”
