[Oan- Baghdad] The
Oil Ministry announced the completion of preparations for the export of the first shipment of liquid gas on Saturday via the port of Umm Qasr Basra province in southern Iraq, after the self – sufficiency of the article and the arrival of national production to five thousand tons per day.
He said ministry spokesman Assem Jihad said in a statement received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of it, that ” the amount that will be loaded on the back of the tanker estimated Balvi tons of liquid gas compressed.”
He said jihad, “This is part of the optimal investment of associated gas oil operations and plans of the ministry aimed to expand the national production of this wealth, with the aim of ensuring financial revenues supply the federal treasury as well as the export of crude oil and condensate. ”
He noted that” this move represents an important breakthrough in Iraq ‘s entry into the global market in this sector after it has made progress noticeable at the project level , which resulted in the rise of liquid gas production rate to five thousand tons per day. ”
Jihad said that” this is an important economic and oil event, it comes under the security and economic challenges facing our dear country , which is planned to be one of the countries producing and exporting gas in the region. ”
It uses extracted from oil and liquefied gas primarily in homes and cars.
the oil Ministry had issued four shipments of gas condensate [C5] during the past three months totaled quantities of more than 60,000 cubic meters.
