Four Arab countries ranked first in the world with the strongest currencies against the dollar, while Iraq ranked last in 2025, according to “Country Cassette,” a website specializing in collecting international data and statistics.

According to a report by the website, which Shafaq News Agency has reviewed, Kuwait came first globally out of 164 countries in its strongest currency against the dollar, as each dinar reached 0.30 to one dollar, followed by the Bahraini dinar in second place, at 0.37 to each dollar, followed by the Omani riyal in third place, at 0.38 to each dollar, and then the Jordanian dinar in fourth place, at 0.70 to each dollar.

The United Kingdom’s pound sterling came in fifth at 0.78 per dollar, followed by the Liechtenstein franc and the Swiss franc at 0.88 per dollar.

According to the report, the dollar in the Bahamas, Ecuador, and El Salvador is worth 1 to the dollar, while the dollar in Brunei is worth 1.34 to the dollar.

He pointed out that Iraq ranked 141st globally in terms of the value of the Iraqi dinar against the dollar, at 1,307 dinars per dollar, while Iran, Vietnam, Laos, Lebanon, Zimbabwe, and Syria ranked last with the worst value of their local currencies.
