Ministry of Commerce: Iraq is approaching to fulfill its obligations to join the World Trade Organization (WTO)

World Trade CenterTomorrow Press / Baghdad: Ministry of Commerce announced on Monday that Iraq was nearing the fulfillment of all the requirements to join the World Trade Organization and the validity of all agreements it as a member state.
Said Director of External Relations and Trade Ministry Hashim Mohammed for “tomorrow’s Press,” that “Iraq is continuing with the committees WTO and fulfill all the requirements of Alandma to the WTO,” he said, adding that “it is also related to the banking system and mechanisms to enforce financial regulations and investment laws and import and export and many sectors. ”
He added that the “committees of the organization in the Middle East closely following the Iraq Programme to enter the organization and confirmed that Iraq is moving in the right direction to get the membership of the organization.”
He added that “joining the WTO will have a deep impact in the development of the Iraqi economy and take advantage of the international conventions on economic affairs in general.”
He added that “the French head of the organization change nationality will not change at all in pursuit of the parties to complete the requirements to enter Iraq to the membership of the organization.”
It is noteworthy that Iraq has begun to open to Arab and foreign countries in the field of trade, especially after ejected from the provisions of Chapter VII.
