Iraq determines its relations with countries according to their cooperation in recovering funds and convicts – Sudanese

Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed today, Saturday, during his meeting with US Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, that the government has taken to determining its relations with countries by the extent of their cooperation in recovering stolen funds, those convicted of stealing public money and those wanted by the Iraqi judiciary.
Today, Saturday, the Prime Minister, Mr. Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, received at his residence in Munich, the US Deputy Attorney General, Ms. Lisa Monaco, on the sidelines of his Excellency’s participation in the Munich Security Conference 2024.
During the meeting, the importance of strengthening legal and judicial cooperation between Iraq and the United States of America on many issues was discussed.
His Excellency referred to the government’s steps and procedures in the field of combating corruption, indicating that the government has taken to determining Iraq’s relations with countries by the extent of their cooperation in recovering stolen funds, those convicted of stealing public money and those wanted by the Iraqi judiciary.
