Iraq demands support from Venezuela to join the World Trade Organization (WTO)

BAGHDAD / JD / .. Iraq demanded support from the Republic of Venezuela in his efforts to join the World Trade Organization (WTO), while stressing the need for cooperation between the two countries in all fields, especially in the field of economy and investment.

The statement quoted al-Moussawi said during the meeting that it is necessary, there is the prospects for substantial cooperation between Iraq and Venezuela and in all fields, especially in the field of economy and investment, which makes it imperative for the two sides organize business and build bridges of cooperation through joint committees and bilateral and study the possibility of concluding economic agreements so as to enhance mutual trust between the two countries.
He said al-Musawi that the philosophy of the Iraqi state trend toward economic openness through open market and private sector support, build and develop its relations with all the countries of the world, especially the process of transforming its economy from the central system to the totalitarian regime, and this requires us to take advantage of the expertise and experience in the fields of economy to Venezuela from the expertise and Industries in the field of energy, electricity and food.
He added that we hope the Venezuelan side of possible support and assistance to be presented to the Iraqi side in his efforts to join the World Trade Organization.
He also stressed the need to take advantage of investment opportunities in Iraq and the possibility of companies entering the Venezuelan operations ages and investment and create true partnerships with the public and private sectors of Iraq, as well as to promote cooperation with the private sector of both countries by holding conferences gathered Iraqi businessmen and Venezuelans and create prospects for trade cooperation paves the possibility of Venezuelan companies entering Iraq.
As regards the work of the Ministry of Commerce called the agent Venezuelan side to participate in the sessions Baghdad International Fair and cooperation with companies the ministry in the field of import regarding the provision of ration card items and construction materials and trade of vehicles and equipment by entering into a bidding conducted by the ministry according to the mechanisms and controls that apply within the implementation of laws government contracts, in addition to negotiate on the granting of exclusive agencies regarding construction materials for the construction materials trading company and equipment and Ctaatabh materials for the automotive trade.
For his part, Chancellor Venezuelan and the delegation accompanying him on the depth of relations between the two countries and the keenness of the Venezuelan side to develop these relations and activated in order to achieve the common interests between the two sides and on Almistoan trade and investment, noting that the delegation met with a number of public figures and the ministries concerned to discuss the possibilities of cooperation in the fields of all economic and especially the areas of energy production and electricity and food.
Counsel also stressed the keenness of the Venezuelan side to work on creating the appropriate atmosphere for Venezuelan companies entering into Iraq to actively contribute to the reconstruction and investment, especially after the improvement of security experienced by Iraq.
