Iranian official: We will start exporting gas to Baghdad and Basra end of next month

Agencies – said Ali Reza کamla Director General of the National Gas Company of Iran to start exporting natural gas from his country to Iraq at the end of next May.

He stressed, “Iran is ready to export gas to Baghdad,” noting that “the Iranian gas will arrive in Iraq late next month of May.”
He added that “Iran and Iraq seek to speed up the delivery of gas to Iraq.”
The Iranian official said that “the Iranian gas released to the cities of Baghdad and Basra,” explaining that “the gas exports to Baghdad will begin to export a quantity of 4 million cubic meters per day and will increase to 35 million cubic meters a day.”
Regarding the size of the export of Iranian gas to Basra, said General Director of the National Gas Company of Iran, said that “to Basra gas exports will begin to export 5 million cubic meters per day, a year after the signing of the contract (2016) and will rise to 30 million cubic meters a day.”
As noted کamla to an increase in gas production in Iran and said that “Iran is ready to supply the city of Basra in southern Iraq by more than 30 million cubic meters of gas per day.”
