Iranian official: Information received from a major plane crash site is very disturbing

Shafaq News/ An Iranian official confirmed on Sunday that the lives of President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian are in danger and the information received from the helicopter crash site is very disturbing.
The Iranian official told Reuters, “We are still hopeful, but the information coming from the crash site is very disturbing.”
On Sunday, media reports reported that the search and rescue team succeeded in locating the helicopter of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.
Media sources reported that the helicopter is located near the village of Ozi in the Arsparan forests, Warzagan District, one of the districts of East Azerbaijan Province in Iran.
IRNA news agency revealed that the search and rescue team arrived at the site of the accident some time ago.
In turn, the Iranian Airports and Air Navigation Company held a meeting at Tabriz Airport to search for the ill-fated helicopter that was carrying the president.
Iranian media also reported that residents near the site of the accident informed rescue teams that they heard “sounds of strong explosions at the site of the emergency landing of the Iranian president’s plane.”
